Beautiful, wood-like finish on metal rod, the finials are beautiful as well (I'll update the poor photo asap.) I would purchase this again when available!

The rods are the perfect accent to my apartment sliding glass doors, and the color is completely versatile. My only comment is that the hardware for assembly needs to be of slightly higher grade; if you are using a drill to install your rods, the screws are easily stripped...but who doesn't love a trip to Home Depot anyway. Definitely worth the price and quality.

It looks like the picture. I haven't installed it yet, but it is not wood. It's painted to look like wood, cheap materials. However I'm sure no one will know once you have it hung with curtains on it.

This "Wood" curtain rod is actually metal with a wood grain paint finish. It comes boxed up compactly so they don't bang around and all parts are wrapped in plastic to protect them. The curtain rod consists of multiple metal rods that screw together and you can vary the length of the rod without any extention or warping. The rods are about 1" in diameter and there are 2 decorative ball finials that fit into gaskets at the end of two of the rods. The finials are round with a "carved" design highlighted that really appeals to my boho spirit. It looks more like wood than the rods, which is nice since it's the visible part.Up close the rods do not really look like wood, but they don't look awful either. The the paint is well applied and not likely to flake or chip too easily. The rods will be covered with curtain fabric and even so from a distance the faux paint does appear more like wood.The curtain rod comes with 3 brackets, and the requisite number of screws /wall anchors for hanging. Installation is standard.My rod pocket curtains just fit the 1" diameter of the rod and they've shrunk down some so I think standard rod pocket would fit this.I really like this design of the rod, my old one has a center extension that is thinner and weaker than the sides and I hate that its unstable even with a bracket. The design of this rod means it will stay sturdy, is adjustable, and decorative.

Looks like a type of hand carved wood, but is actually made of metal. It fooled me right up until I unpackaged it. I'm really liking the faux wood look, it adds a touch of elegance to something that's otherwise just another bland house accessory. Mine came with three brackets for the wall. I went with the 86" to use for hanging a set of curtains to hide my closet from view. Hanging a curtain rod is much easier than installing the bi-fold doors, in my opinion. For the quality, I didn't find this overly expensive. It's actually quite a good deal. It's heavy duty and has a timeless look, I expect to be using this for many years.

We have yet to hang these curtain rods as I'm awaiting the curtains to arrive, as well as deciding whether to paint the nursery or not. However, I did look at the rods and it's perfect for our nursery! It complements the space nicely and is the perfect size for the window in there.

Everything about this rod is great:- Install was simple. We only used the two outside brackets and extended the rod to 75”. We saved the leftover bracket in case it later appears to need extra support in the center.- The look is beautiful - it looks like real wood- Quality is excellentWhat else do you need in a curtain rod? In the past year, I have hung over 15 curtain rods and this one looks the best! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
