Works beautifully and produces great tasting water
Excellent water filter. Water tastes great. A bit pricey but also does a better job than most.

Excellent taste
I think the gray filter gives better tasting water than the white filter. But, why are they the same price ?I do not have a well.RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE.Last year 2023, I paid $36 for same filter. Now in 2024 the filter costs $53 !!!Update: I do not understand any reviews saying the filters clog. I’ve been using these for a couple years now. NEVER had one clog. What are people doing with them, and have they asked the manufacturer ?? I think something is fishy with a review saying their filter clogged.

Great filters
We began using the Epic water filter replacements nearly 5 years ago in the Epic Nano water filter to remove unhealthy things from our well water. The filter installs easily and continues to work effectively for 90 days. Water tastes great!

Expensive replacement
Epic Nano took a page from the inkjet printer market by offering a replacement filter that costs nearly as much as the filter itself. The price point of this item concerns me but I'm satisfied with its performance.Installation is easy. It does require discarding the first couple of pitchers (tip: pour this on some plants and not down the drain). You might as well order the one that matches your pitcher's color scheme. The filter does provide nice filtration but it can be slow at first to filter a pitcher's worth of water. You must train yourself to refill the pitcher after each use.Overall, I give it a 4-star rating because although the performance is good, it ends up costing about fifteen bucks a month for this filter that lasts 90 days. I think it should cost half that (or less!) and I'm certain the manufacturer has already gotten the cost down on this.I've done no independent testing of the efficacy of the filter, so not sure if the claims are accurate. Assuming it is, this is a thorough and premium filter product.

Good filter
We use this filter with our Epic water filtration system up at our cabin. We have a sand point well. The water seems okay but we've never had it tested. So we use this to filter the water for drinking and cooking just to be on the safe side. One filter lasts us the entire season so we feel it's worth the money. Much easier than buying bottled water and having to recycle all the bottles. I recommend if you have looking for a small unit to filter your drinking water.

Do not get this filter!!!
I have used this filter for the giant water filter for almost a year, a month ago I bought the pitcher. I've had to replace the filter 2 times in 1 month and now the 2nd one is also clogged. I've tried to clean it by soaking it in hot water and now it just leaks from the sides?! To pay almost $60 on a filter that clogs after 2 weeks is absolutely unacceptable. I've spent almost $200 in 1 month on this whole system and it doesn't work! I'm so upset and out alot of money. DON'T BUY THIS ONE!
