Great umbrella quality, on-time delivery relativel easy setup
Very good umbrella. We purchased the 12' Sunbrella version. To be fair, we just put this together, so we reserve judgment for when it's used a bit more. But, in any case, the first thing that stands out when you get this is that it came on time as promised and was delivered properly by FedEx. A bit heavier than we thought at around 88lbs, but easy to move. When you open up the box, the first thing that you notice is how well it is packed, and a diagram of the contents with item ID numbers/letters is printed on the underside of the top opening of the box. The instructions tell you to remove the contents in a particular order. The instructions are relatively clear, but like most drawn directions, you have to be careful to build in the correct orientation. More about that shortly. The instructions come with all the screws, bolts, washers, and tools you need to put the umbrella together. They are in a blister pack, with the item codes printed on the back with slats to open it and remove what you need. There are NOT a lot of parts. But, it is a bit difficult to open each slotted back, and because it is blistered onto the nuts/bolts, a bit difficult to remove from the packaging, but with some patience and pulling/stripping, it comes out.The instructions are well presented, and if you want a video of how to install it, I believe there is a video on YouTube. I didn't use that, I just used the parts and diagrams. The next thing you realize is that the key components, like the rotator, base, step release, cantilever pole, and umbrella housing is VERY well constructed. Solid and heavy, coated-aluminum. It comes across as being able to hold its own in any condition. There are plastic parts, but they aren't structural. Putting the unit together is not difficult, and as others have said, the only part that may need 2 people is when you are putting the umbrella housing into the base. It can be done by one person, but it becomes a bit clumsy with the size of the umbrella. The main umbrella housing comes complete setup-wise, except you need to put in 2 pieces that are already semi-attached. We got Sunbrella fabric, and it comes already attached to the umbrella rods and it looks and feels great. When you are putting in the screws and holders you need to be careful about the orientation of the parts, as the diagram only gives a limited view/words about where they go. For example, when you are putting in the sidewalls of the base, you must put them in the correct positions relative to the step release, or the tops will not install. Difficult to see that in the diagrams. Also, when you put in the umbrella rod/housing to the base, you may have the umbrella upside down because it seems to be going that way with the curvature of the base holder, but it's not. It goes in the opposite direction, and we had to remove it, turn the umbrella, and put it back in.It does take some adjusting to get the metal guides into the base, but overall the quality of the machining to accept the screws wherever noted was excellent. No stripped screws, no poorly drilled holes in the pole base. Easy to assemble.About the only thing that is annoying and messy is adding the sand. Get 250 lbs of kid's play sand and fill it up in the four supplied container holders. Scooping vs pouring will make it easier and more manageable, especially as you must pack it evenly across the whole holder on all sides to fit in approximately 55-60 lbs in each bag. I used a portable shop vac to vacuum up all the excess sand.A word of caution, do your best to position the base to where it can be most helpful. Yes, the rotator is easy to use, and the pics on Amazon show you the extent of the range and position where the umbrella comes to, but remember, once in its place with all that sand, it's very very difficult to move around. Keep in mind that the sun moves, so there likely is no one spot that works in all angles. The fact that the umbrella rotates and can adjust its angle makes it great for almost any reasonable placement. The riser handle is solid and looks modern, the opening is large enough to fit any hand, and it's easy to move up and down. The locking wheel keeps the riser in place, and the crank is very easy to turn in either direction. Putting the umbrella down and storing it for the night is simple, and the closing tabs keep it bundled. We bought a cantilever umbrella weather cover that has a handle to lift it over the top and cover the fabric and housing for greater protection and to make it last.Overall, it takes an hour or so (minus the time scooping and cleaning all the sand) to put together alone and fix any screw-ups you may have. But, as it compares to other products we have purchased, this is a solid umbrella and looks great. We looked for a cantilever umbrella for over 2 months and looked at those costing from $200 to $3,500. Couldn't get comfortable with the over $1,000 options, and tried to get comfortable with the look, construction, and color of the others. While reviews can go all over, so sometimes you take them with a grain of salt, we got comfortable with the Lausaint Home Umbrella, and it didn't disappoint! For the money - a great buy!

Impressive quality - best customer service
OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICEI have not assembled my umbrella yet, but I have been so pleased with the customer service so far that I will alway make them my go-to for products like these. After I purchased my umbrella I wasn't happy with the color (my fault). They were very helpful in getting me a replacement cover in a different color, so that I didn't have to send the entire product back. And then just ad I had laid out the parts to assemble it, I became very sick with a long illness that prevented me from moving anything for almost a year. Some well-meaning family members gathered the parts that I had laid out and put them in a pile off to the side, and "helpfully" tossed out the box that had gotten a bit weathered. The box lid has the instructions printed on it, so there went my instructions. And the pack that has the few hardware pieces (bolts, etc) also got misplaced. So again, I turned to the customer service team, and they have been awesome. They didn't charge me, they just sent out the replacement hardware parts to me, and they are emailing the instructions to me today. I am beyond impressed.I'll update with photos once I get it put together, but I can say that the pieces sat out in rain and weather for months and nothing has rusted, the red canopy hasn't faded a bit, even sitting in a clear plastic cover in direct sunlight, and the plastic parts still look and feel brand new. The quality has already impressed me. Hopefully I can get it put together with ease. I will update once I have it completed.

Best deal on an offset umbrella
The umbrella shipped quickly and was well packaged. I shopped around looking for an offset umbrella and I will say this was the best option. Other places charge hundreds of dollars more. One well known retailer charges up to 3600 dollars. Dollar for dollar this was best option don't be afraid to buy it. And the assembly was easy. I purchased play sand from Home Depot to fill the base. Don't forget to position the base where you would like it be prior to filling it with sand. If not moving it will be more than you bargained for. But the price and quality will be hard to beat and the ease of assembly will be the cherry on top.

I Love the Look
I wanted the exact same one I purchased at Lowe's 5 years ago but they don't have any, not sure if they stopped making it or what's going on so after researching, I found this.Pros and cons:Con, the slide bar lock is a knob, not complete pin lock. Not sure I care for that or how long it will last. Escutcheon plate (see picture) doesn't snap into anything so it flops around. Seller did provide slight refund after contacting them so great service.Pros: Bought 4 kids (50 lb each) sandbags to fill the provided heavyweight green container that goes inside the base. While The directions made it look cumbersome to fill the container, because it showed you using a funnel, you do not have to use a funnel. I used a child 's beach sand shovel and it only took me about 10 minutes to complete the entire task. It's been very windy lately and this thing has NOT moved. I love the curved look and overall it feels like a very quality umbrella. Only time of course will tell. I did purchase a cover for it as one did not come with it. For the price, I feel it's a solid purchase. Oh and I'm a 60-year-old woman and I put this thing together by myself.
