Does it work? ... Yes it does!
Works pretty good. Not like a big welder but for small repairs it works ok. Thick metal is a little bit of a challenge. NOW mind you I am off grid and run off of solar panels and an inverter. Im using this on a budget 3000 watt inverter. Ive blown a couple 300 amp fuses but I believe that a 350 amp fuse would be ok as Im on 400ah LiFePo4 for this. I switched over to the 1200ah LiFePo4 bank with an AIMS 4000watt inverter and it does much better. The 3000watt inverter is a little inconsistent but it works. I don't have shore power but I'll bet it works even better on that. Im glad I bought it as it serves its purpose for me. (and it still works after doing a couple jobs) Its light and its small, perfect for a grab and go tool.

Works Surprisingly Well
I tried to cancel my order but am glad it didn’t take. This low cost stick welder works pretty good. Doesn’t have the oomph of the old Lincoln 220V unit l used to have but for the money this little thing is great for occasional home use. I think the display might be off though as it seems to have more power than the display shows. And if l run it over 105A it will pop my 20A breaker right away. But l found that with the display showing 82A l could easily run a full stick of 3/32” E6013 perfectly with no hiccups.

Ideal starter
This little thing will handle most backyard projects. Up to 1/8 in rod and the ability to tig! I wish id gotten the slightly larger one now that I've had it for a while

Serves me well
Works great. Two drawbacks though. The duty time is short and you can’t make real long welds without the welder stopping to cool down. It also should be plugged into a 30 amp circuit. My circuit is 20 amp and I trip the breaker often
