Q: does it get red berries?

This plant is invasive and extremely toxic the berries kill birds and animals.

Q: Is this plant drought tolerant?

The tag says it requires well drained soil and medium water. A lot of this is dependent on the zone you live in and the amount of sun and time of day. I live in zone 9 and our Texas heat is brutal on plants that state "full sun to part shade". I have many nandinas and they do well in less than full sun conditions and they like regular watering. But my friend has hers in full filter sun 5+ hours per day but on a drip system. Hope this helps.

The SL Obession Nandina - 3' to 4' feet tall x 3' to 4' feet wide. Upright growth shape.

Nandinas are slow-growing and very hardy. Very little care is required.
