Used this for mastectomy (4 weeks with drains) and reconstruction (2 weeks of drains). 2 drains fit snuggly in each pouch. Elastic belt stretched perfectly around my bug belly with room to spare AND did not add pressure. Would put it on and forget about it.The shower bag works great also for up to 4 drains. I have recommended this product close to 10 times in my various Facebook breast cancer support groups with women expressing their delight in the product once they used it. I wore the belt under a oversized shirt to all post op appointments with no concerns.

***Absolute must-have post surgery*** I wanted to be as prepared as possible so that my double mastectomy would suck just a little less. I looked up tips on what to buy. A lot of people suggested special button up shirts with pockets on the inside for the drains. I’m not the type to drop $60 on a blouse I’ll own for 15 years much less a cardigan I’ll use for 2 weeks. Also, the thought of wearing the same grubby sweater day in and day out post surgery is a nightmare so unless you can afford 3 ($180) save your money!! THIS BELT IS ALL YOU NEED!! It’s easy to put on and adjust by yourself. The fabric for the pockets is super soft and it comes with a separate holder for the shower that hangs around your neck and drys very quickly. I suggest buying this simple must have belt and a few loose fitting button up shirts. The looser around the belly (think maternity shirts) the better so the drain bulbs don’t bulge out. Simple enough. These will make your life 100x easier. And don’t forget to bring it to the hospital with you. Also, for anyone that needs to hear this (cause I really needed it)...you got this...it’s not as bad as my head made me think it was...you’ll be ok, I promise:) BUY THIS BELT!!

This product was extremely helpful during my mastectomy. It is light weight, stretchable, very efficient and helps get the job done. I highly recommend it. Great product and cost.

To make light of an otherwise crappy situation, my fiance named the two little blue drain bag baggies that sit on your waist/hips from this set my little holsters, the drains my pistols. Yea gross, but it at least made us smile! I didn't like the baggie one that I wore like a purse around my neck - way more comfortable to have the two on the belt around my hips, especially when worn with oversized button-down flannels.

This has been a game changer since I had my breast reduction. It hold the drains wonderfully, even when I sleep. I wod highly recommend if you're having any type of breast surgery.
