I originally bought this as a gag gift for my mom, but the joke’s on me because she loves it. She wears it every night now! It’s surprisingly soft, doesn’t slip off, and actually keeps her head warm without being too hot. The adjustable fit is a nice touch, and the fabric feels light but cozy. It gets bonus points for looking ridiculously charming.

As a balding man with a larger head who'd like a sleeping cap not as a costume for practical purposes, I was concerned this may be too tight, too warm, too sheer...but all my concerns were assuaged upon purchasing it. The material is very stretchy and accomodating, it's neither too warm nor too thin and the elastic band keeps the hat in place without pushing into your skin. The pom-pom serves a practical purpose, too, as it keeps the end of the cap weighted down.Many people may purchase these as novelties, but after sleeping in it for several winter nights I can attest they work well as a practical sleeping garment.

I bought this as a comical but useful Christmas gift for my husband who is bald. He will usually wear a hooded sweatshirt to bed in the winter to keep his head warm. We live in Iowa. So far he’s been wearing it. He says it’s warm. It has a thin elastic so it’s not binding. He has a rather large head and it fits. Not too tight. The material is rather thin though. I wasn’t out a lot of money if he didn’t wear it.
