Review of Ocean's 12 and 13
Ocean's 11 rebooted the crime heist movie, in the same way the Jason Bourne movies had done for the spy genre. The reason Ocean's 11 worked so well was the quality of the actors, and also because they were prepared to work as part of an ensemble. Each character contributed their skills to the heist, so therefore each character contributed their part to the movie. It made for a glorious whole. In Ocean's 12 and then 13, they forgot all about this. Pretty much any given line in the movie could be given to any other character without consequence. By the time they got to Ocean's 13, Brad Pitt and George Clooney's characters had merged into one, and any other "specialists" took on any specialism – any of the characters were suddenly able to hack systems, any of them were able to be confidence tricksters, any of them could be getaway drivers.I realise they didn't want to make the same movie all over again, but changing the formula is just daft.Still, Ocean's 12 and 13 are still compelling viewing because of the cast. Clooney has rarely been used better. His half smile throughout shows why he's one of the leading men of our time. The acting elsewhere is first rate (by Hollywood blockbuster standards), with Carl Reiner turning in a particularly good spot whenever the camera turns to him.Ocean's 12 and 13 make good use of location to keep the story moving (expanding into Europe, in the second movie, much like the Jason Bourne films had done). It's just that 12 and 13 lack the satisfaction of 11. The plots also get pretty ridiculous, especially in 12, which starts to resemble some of the early Mission Impossible movies – you almost need a pen and paper to work out why people did what they did, and when. So, in summary: Ocean's 11 is a must watch. Ocean's 12 and 13? Why not? There's worse things to watch. But temper your expectations.

Unnecessarily convoluted and strung out
The film had too many plotlines, too many twists which didn't really serve the continuity of the film well. Fantastical nonsense about raising a building in Amsterdam by a few centimetres. I really began to lose interest at that point. The Julia Roberts character was totally boring and unrealistic and her relationship with George Clooney was totally uninteresting adding nothing to the story.

Dissapointingly Poor compared to Oceans 11, Oceans 13 and Oceans 8
Don't bother watching this one, confusing in places, boring in others and some scenes just plain daft (Julia Robert's character actually being passed off as ‘the Julia Roberts’ in the film was just bizarre!), the other Oceans films are great though and it’s a shame this one just doesn’t measure up in its clever ideas and captivating viewing!

Skip straight to Ocean 13 which is much better
So disappointed, can see now why there wasn’t a proper trailer. A great cast but this film sadly just didn’t work. Felt more like a bad music video with same formulaic music and edited scenes throughout.

Pretty crap tbh
I have to agree with everyone else in the comments, I got about 5-10 mins into this one and it's just terrible. The entire feel of the mvoie is completely different than the first movie and the entire plot feels forced. I wouldn't waste your time on it.

NOT a good sequel
I remember now why I didn't buy this earlier. I saw Ocean's 11 and it was good. I saw this at the cinema and it was awful. Ii fogot. Then I bought this DVD many years on. I'm glad I bought it second hand and only payed a few pennies plus postage. Summary: Ocean's 11: good, Ocean's 12: awful, Ocean's 13: surprisingly okay bearing in mind how awful 12 was.

Honesty didn't expect Ocean 12 to be so bad. Couldn't watch it , maybe 20 min max.
