5 stars – Cozy, Effective, and Easy to Install!
I’m genuinely impressed with this Door Blanket! I bought this to help keep the cold air out during the winter, and it’s made a noticeable difference in keeping my space warmer and more comfortable. The insulation really works—it blocks drafts effectively, and the thermal layer helps maintain room temperature much better than I expected. The magnetic closure is super convenient and seals nicely without making it hard to walk through. It’s also a great bonus that it opens and closes silently and automatically, which is perfect for pets or frequent trips in and out.Installation was quick and easy, and the quality feels durable and well-made. Plus, it looks fine (it’s not going to be the prettiest thing ever but you can pull the sides back with some spare Velcro during the day and it looks fine) and doesn’t feel bulky or awkward in the doorway.Highly recommend this if you’re looking to cut down on heating costs, reduce drafts, or just create a cozier space during colder months!

why didn't I buy this sooner!
I love my door blanket! This really keeps the cold out! I have an old slider that has an aluminum frame, so I used windex to clean it before I put stuck the velcro on. If your frame is too cold or slightly damp, it won't stick. The magnets really work well. I did order it slightly bigger and it fits well. It's okay its a little long. I immediately noticed after the first night how much warmer the room was in the morning. I also kind of use this as a cat door! I don't close it on the lower corner of the slider where the cats want to go in and out. This was much cheaper than a pet door and keeps my office much warmer. My only issue is why didn't I buy this sooner!

COLOR WAS PERFECT FOR OUR INTERIOR! MAGNETS STRONG! SEWING JOB ON IT, PERFECT!Yes, it is a pain bringing to and from through it, but, THE WARMTH IS 5 STARS!!!EASY! SEALS AND HOLDS!HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Surprisingly effective
I recently installed this on our back door off the eat in kitchen to the patio. In the winter there is a definite draft where the door is not properly sealed to the door frame. I've tried everything I can find to minimize the issue. I gambled and tried this Magnetic Thermal Insulated Door Curtain - and it's a WINNER! One star is taken off since the velcro backing doesn't really stick to the door frame. You must use the included tacks, but we need to add a few more to secure it at the bottom - which we haven't done yet.I can now open the back door and leave it open and feel nothing coming in! Now please note that the bottom is not secure so air does come in from the bottom, but the difference it has made has been fantastic. My husband finds it to be a pain when he's using the grill and fumbling to get through the door, but that's a minor inconvenience compared to the different it makes to the temperature of the eat in kitchen. The magnetic closure is fantastic! It definitely feels like a quality product.

It really helps with drafts & keeps the cold from seeping in.
I got this because I live in an older home that has this particular add on and the door leading to and from this room is not a door but one of those accordion style plastic “doors”. The add on room has no heat so cold air comes into my kitchen especially from the gap at the top , the whole thing is flimsy , no insulation at all from the cold in winter . This door quilt works wonders to stop the freezing air from chilling my kitchen & helps keep the heat pump from kicking in thus helping me save some money . I put this up by myself after reading the simple directions , I took my time getting the velcro strips nice and straight & for what it is isn’t that bad looking once it’s up . The size I ordered was a bit too long but I just just folded it up and still looks neatly done , in fact adds a little more insulation at the bottom of this odd size door way . I’m very happy I chose the cream color versus the grey because number one it blends in better in the space it’s in plus looks more homey , I’m glad I didn’t have grey as the only choice .

Great product
I try to keep my heating bill down so I decided to get this and see if it would help. I put it up on the doorway into my living room, I also bought another type but pretty much the same thing and put it up covering my front main living room door. Then just used my radiator type electric heater to heat that one room instead of heating the whole house with the furnace. This worked fantastic! No cold came through into the living room and no heat went out. The one on the front door stopped the cold that radiated off it from coming into the room. They work great and my heating bill went way down.

It works for trapping heat or cold BUT….
So this totally kept the cold out but there is a major flaw. Whether you consider it a problem with instructions before purchase or poor design is up to you. I purchased a size up from my door just in case of size issues and yet bc my door swings in, like most front doors, you CANNOT open your door without pulling the blanket off the Velcro. the blanket middle split doesn’t pull back far enough to accommodate my door swinging in and that was with me purposefully buying the next size up from my door. Now that wouldn’t necessarily be a deal breaker bc that’s the beauty of the Velcro BUT that completely defeats the purpose of having the middle split. Second. After pulling the blanket off the Velcro, the sticky side of the Velcro tape actually pulled off my wall. That’s with the prep of wiping it down before applying the tape.Long story short, unless you are willing to buy like 4 or 5 sizes bigger OR put the blanket on the outside, it doesn’t feel worth it.I’m returning unfortunately
