Bought this book for my grandson as he has a great interest in dogs. The book is sizeable, of good quality and full of great pictures and information. Very please with my purchase

Very imoformative book. Bought for the whole family to read to help up us get clued up before getting a dog. Kid friendly layout. Son age 6 daughter age 8 bo to enjoy reading this book.

Huge book full of info, great photos and with added training, behaviour and health section. Small ‘Breed boxes’ with brief notes on size, grooming, feeding, exercise and temperament for each breed. Love the book but only four stars because, as another reviewer said, it doesn’t tell you the life span which is really very important when considering what breed of dog to choose.

This book went beyond what i hoped it would. The section on dog breeds is amazing as it explains the different requirements for each breed which is incredibly useful. And the rest is just as helpful. Definitely recommend if you’re interested in dogs.
