2 months of ECOSMO 26" Folding "Multi-Terrain Bike - 26AF18BL
Now ridden for about 100 journeys over 2 months, averaging around 2.5km each.I was looking for something like a Dahon Espresso. Since those are no longer available, and there is now a hole in the mid-range (~£400) full size foldie market, this was the next best thing.Good:+ Easy enough to assemble, although did require quite a lot of adjustment, and tightening bits assembled at the factory.+ Basic frame seems solid, robust and no heavier than it's (very good) Dahon Jack predecessor.+ came with quite a nice multi-tool+ stand is far enough back to not obstruct the pedals.Bad:- Tyres are wearing rather quickly. Will probably need replacing in 3 months.- in first week the rear spoke-mounted reflector fell off into the gear mechanism in heavy traffic. No serious harm done other than a destroyed reflector. In fairness, they sent a replacement that appears to be secure.- arrived with NON-folding pedals. In fairness, upon raising the issue, they sent the correct pair straight away.- No easy way to remove/fold the handlebars.- rear frame tubes are an odd position and shape. Seemingly impossible to find a suitable frame-mounted pannier rack.- Front shocks feel a bit loose at full extension.- occasionally rear gears skip.- I'm not convinced the frame is sufficiently robust for true off-road use. I.e. not much rougher than a lawn.Summary:~ the frame feels a little bit small (I'm 183cm, 90kg), but in fairness does fold slightly smalled than my old Dahon Jack.~ good basic bike for the (budget) price, but...~ ... most of the 'accessories' and consumables seem low quality (tyres, reflectors, etc)UPDATE: 29 Apr 2025Downgraded from 4* to 3*. Considering 2*.Still cycling about 35km/week.- turns out the skipping rear gear was a broken (failed) gear tooth- chain snapped(!) 6 weeks ago; needed replacing- 7 rear spokes have failed in the last 3 weeks

Far better and faster than the 20' folding bike I had
I have it for 3 months now and works well. I use it in my daily commute, it folds and unfolds easy, it's not lightweight, actually is quite heavy but you can roll it when folded.I like it because it's way faster than the 20' folding bike I had.Even though I park it indoors it has developed rust in the frame and the chain from the first month - I live in London and it's quite rainy, but still, my previous bicycles had no such problems.

much to low for people like me and can not be raised to a suitable ...
I bought the bike (26 " ) because, I am 1m94 and the explanation and other revieuws said , that it was asuitable bike for my lenght. When I assembled the bike , I had to rise the sadle ofcourse , in order to be able topaddle correctly. Sadly the stearingwheel is much , much to low for people like me and can not be raised to a suitable level. Therefore this bike is only for short people !!!! When you by a bigger folding bike you assume it's for taller people ??....also because theysay so !!! In conclusion : A bike like this should be for taller people also , otherwise it's no use to make it a 26" !!! In this case you by a cat in a bag !!

This bike has had me in numerous near-road misses.
USAGE BASED ON 30MIN AT 5 TIMES PER WEEK ON DRY FLAT ROAD FOR 7 MONTHS.AfterImmediate - seat uncomfortable2 months - tyres became worn, needed both replacing. Weekly inflation of tyres required. Changed to new tyres, these now need pumping once per month.3 months - pedal damaged, from daily usage, pedal would no longer fold up and would grind the plastic during rotation. Pedal needed replacing, with the company charging £10 for replacement. The new pedal began to rust after 1 month.4 months - rear brake became unresponsive, and front brakes have required frequent adjustment. Most gears on the bike no longer work. In a couple of instances, the wiring on the brakes snapped or the plastic covers over the wire became loose, stopping the brake from working whilst on a main road.6 months - the bike chain is warped and stretched. The teeth on the bike gears are stretched, damaged and need replacing. The entire back wheel wobbles, and needs replacing. Both brakes no longer work. The entire bottom bracket where the pedals meet is rusted, and wobbles. The pedal makes a clicking grinding sound during rotation and is not stable. This needs replacing.

Nice bike, easy to assemble, folds easy, value for money, rides well, e-mails answered quickly.
Bike turned up 4 days earlier than stated. The box turned up not damaged, and the bike inside well protected. Took a little patience to remove from box. Once removed it was not to much trouble to assemble. A nice looking bike once assembled. Easy to fold. The only item sent with the bike which were wrong were the pedals. Standardtype were sent, where folding pedals should have been. A e-mail stating the problem was quickly resolved.Well done ECOSMO.

Good buy
The bike it self is really good, the instructions could be a bit more useful but that shouldn't affect it's rating, I'm 6'3 and 98 kg and it seems to manage with me so very happy with it
