Bought to stabilise monitor and it works very well
New monitors, cheap ones anyway, are rubbish. The central stands flap around when you (or your colleagues) bash the desk. Frustrated after a colleague had a long conference call one day and he was banging the desk I researched for a rock solid VESA mount that was great value. And I found it in this mount. It's easy to fit, robustly weighty and comes with all the bits to fit it (except a screwdriver, but that's expected).Fitting took longer than expected, as my monitor stand wouldn't come off (it's an LG where you actually have to take the screen off the monitor itself!). Anyway, once fitted it's been a delight to use. Rock. Solid. No budge or sway. Very happy and really chuffed at the low price.** Pros **- Rock solid- Comes with all the bolts needed- Offers some flexibility in height and angle- Great value for money** Cons **- Limited height adjustment, and at the expense of distance from your eyes- Likely only fits up to 24 inch screenOverall, if you need a robust mount for your VESA screen, then this is a great choice.

Fabulous mount
Quick delivery and securely packaged. The mount itself is perfect for my 22 inch travel television. The steel mounting plate and plastic backing are very easily secured with the screws provided and with very minimal effort. The mount itself is surprisingly lightweight but has a very solid feel and is very robust. The hinges as mentioned in other reviews are very tight but to my mind this is a positive and I had no problem in carefully manoeuvring the mount into the desired position and could easily fold it back for storage. It’s a quality product at an attractive price and I’m very pleased with it.

Well designed and worth the money
I like this stand.I am using it for a 3D printed programmable keyboard, rather than a monitor, and the fact that it folds flat is a great benefit.I have given it 4 stars instead of 5 purely because I think the tension (stiffness) should be more readily adjustable. It is possible to adjust, but it means taking the plastic covers off. The other slightly negative point is that the mount is not rotating, so it would require a rotating adaptor if you need to switch between landscape and portrait.Don't let this out you off if you want it for its proper use as a monitor stand, as I needed the adjustability in tension to work with my keyboard, which is a fraction of the weight of a monitor. This is actually well designed, and I would certainly buy another.

Great value, super sturdy.
Great stand. Bought it for use with a 24" AOC monitor taking a bit of a chance that it might not fit, but it's perfect. Nice couple of cm gap underneath making it look like a factory stand.Hinges on the stand are nice and stiff, which is perfect for what I wanted. Using the monitor as a TV on top of a chest of drawers and able to angle the TV with no issues.

Quick & easy to fit, cracking piece of kit.
At first was a bit concerned about how 'stiff' it was to move to adjust angle , but once screen had been attached leverage was increased and angle adjustment was easier. Any looser the screen would tilt under it's own weight.Tidy piece of kit. Would buy again.

Take note of its little quirks (in my notes) and you'll get there.
Once you figure out its wee quirks, it is easy to fix on. You have to wiggle & jiggle the plastic cover that sits over the metal plate, to get it loose, before you can put screws in. Large screws go into metal and back of monitor. Small screws fix plastic cover over metal plate. Be warned, you monitor may not sit exactly as shown on the site. Mine sits far lower on the stand. Not up in air, such as you see in photo examples. Hope this is clear. Not the best thing to explain without diagrams. I have an LG 17" monitor. When you take it out of packing, if you don't have strong-ish wrists, you may not be able to pull the stand out to expand it to a working size. I was scared I was going to break it, at first. I know it needs to be stiff and strong to do its job. But just be aware of this fact. Stand does seem sturdy enough. Price is good enough. I saw some, of a different type, that were much dearer elsewhere.

A very good stand
This is evidently German as not only was it accompanied by a leaflet completely in German that offered Gummibears for reviews but is a great example of that nations engineering. It's a really solid stand for my 10" screen, if slightly disproportionate in size. The joints are very stiff so I have no fears of the stand collapsing and it comes at a very reasonable price.

Useful alternative to the supplied monitor stand
I received several 24" monitors from a manufacturer who shall remain nameless. Unfortunately the supplied stands did not fit and I had to install the monitors at a customer's premises on short notice. These stands attach using the standard VESA mount points on the back of most modern displays. They do the job nicely and feel sturdy on the desk.If I were to level a small criticism at them it would be that the adjustment mechanism is extremely stiff and difficult to move freely - so adjust once to get it right then leave well alone :-)
