I purchase this phone for my wife, who has arthriric fingers and is a little hard of hearing. She loves this phone as she has no difficulty in operating the keys, it is compact and as it is a clamshell design it cannot make rogue calls. The volume is very good so she has no difficulty in hearing calls. We have had several phones but non has worked as well.

It arrived today, it worked fine. I put phone numbers in and put a background photo, I put it on charge for 2 hours and then unplugged it and when I opened it, it was black so I thought its off, I tried to turn it on, nothing happened. Then it came on randomly and everything was backwards, all the writing and even the buttons were wrong. The screen was weird as you can see in the photo. Very disappointed because I bought this for my grandads birthday who has dementia.

Not nice feel, felt brittle and looked cheap

The phone is sturdy and well made with large, clear easy to read symbols and numbers. The only difficulty we had was inserting the sim card as this wasn't explained well in the manual. I will add a photograph when I can, but in the meantime, if anybody is as baffled as we were, what you have to do is slide the full standard sim card into the sim card slot by pushing it under the metal bar on the left. You can't lift the bar up, but you will find when you try, that you can push the sim card under it.I bought the phone for an elderly gentleman who, for the first time, decided to try using a mobile phone because anytime calls on his landline had become so expensive. Unfortunately he found most mobile phones far too complex and couldn't master them.The solution was to find a simple mobile that worked in a similar way to his landline phone.The CHAKEYAKE mobile Flip phone proved ideal and because it was 3G it was easy to find a cheap sim to use with it. It is not my cup of tea at all but my elderly friend is delighted with it. He finds it easy to use, can hear well on it and is really happy just making and receiving telephone calls.

Totally died after 2 months. Tried to contact through Amazon website but it states 1 month return only, can’t speak to anyone at Amazon to discuss faulty item.
