Amazing
My whole life I’ve always struggled with holding my pen the “right” way, could never do it as well, without being messy and even slower with writing. I stick to my way of holding it—which is incorrect and causes my hand to hurt after about 10 mins of writing due to how much pressure I use. Now that I’m in my 30’s it’s starting to catch up to me. I found this item and figured to give it a try, and it works out great! I’ve tried many things, but this item takes the cake!

Stop choking your writing implement
I have carpal tunnel, I choke pens, needles, chopsticks, etc. Anything small, because my finger go numb and tingling. This allows me to write easily, while barely grasping my tool. Holds between the fingers effortlessly and comfortably. LOVE THIS TOOL.Expensive.

Uncomfortable and unhelpful
I have arthritis but love writing and am in desperate need of an assistive device so I can continue doing so by hand. Maybe it's just because I've never used something like this before but to me it's extremely uncomfortably and unwieldy. Rather than alleviating any of my arthritic issues it just adds on a new challenge of trying to balance this cumbersome product.

Life saving device
I've had this for a month and I love it. I just ordered two more.I have a problem squeezing anything with my thumb and this device completely eliminates the need to do that to hold a pen.It does take some getting used to since it feels a bit weird when you first start using them. It's designed specifically for either a stick pen or pencil, so if you use pens that are thicker than that you may have a little bit of trouble getting them in. But once you get them in it's great.I wish they sold them in multiple packs.

Was too big
Seemed good in concept but very uncomfortable. May be its too big. Hard to tell. And seems fit would have to be just right to work. Wish they had more details for a sizing guide. Wishing i bought the yellow instead but dont want to risk wasting more money. So consider that when deciding to buy. Seems solid though hard

helps, but could use some improvement
This device has certainly helped me hold my pen. The way it was intended to be held did not really work for me however with trial and error it has served it's purpose. Because I wrap my fingers around the grip for stability, after awhile the edge becomes uncomfortable. A slight design change would resolve this. This pen grip also allows for a replacement pen so it is not designed to be disposable as are some other grips.

Life changer for me!
I have hand tremors and arthritis. I do a lot of art on my iPad and I would get the worst pain in my hand from it. I just got this is the mail today and tried it out, right away I could feel the difference in the strain to my hand and after a few hours of use no pain at all. It's easy to use and easy to adapt to. I will be getting a few more to have on hand just in case I misplace this one. I highly recommend it.

Searched for 5 years, finally found
While considering this purchase I was hesitant because it felt like it was going to be just another grip that didnt help. When I saw the review about the basal joint, I figured I would give it a try.For about 5 years now I have been struggling with basal/CMC joint hypermobility and the pain that comes with it as well as general hypermobility in all fingers. As a college student I am constantly writing and it is a struggle. I have tried SEVERAL different braces, grips and specialty pens with minimal success. Discouraging. So far this ring pen ultra grip has been amazing! I still struggle with the pinky positioning sometimes but over time I may figure out improved hand positioning.
