Poor Quality.
The Tv's sound quality is actually pretty good, what bothers me is the graphics, for reference I've had a 65 inch TV since about 2019, it manages to handle my ps5 at 2160p, with this tv (which is 3 years newer than my old TV) you would expect very good graphics but when I received it I experienced terrible quality, the colours are not good at all, Now regarding returning I'm not sure if I can return but I would like to return the TV as I've never experienced such poor quality. I don't recommend this TV for anyone who plans kn playing their gaming consoles on it, the only reason I bought it was to play my ps5, now I don't even feel like turning it on as the quality of graphics leaves me in utter disgust. If anyone from the company is reading this, is there anyway I can return it?

HOW TO GET ALEXA TO WORK
I spent like 2 hours with various Amazon agents trying to figure out how this works. Several of them quit on me lol.First of all, you don't need a Roku subscription to use this TV, just a Roku account, which is free.As for Alexa. You don't set it up via the TV, but rather though the Alexa app. You have to download the 'Roku' skill. NOT the 'Hisense' skill, this particular model will not work with that skill. The below steps sent to me by an Amazon representative should work. (Thanks Raj!)Also- I think if you have the Roku app and remote already set up on your phone, it cuts the steps in half.ALEXA SET UP1. Once you have your echo set up on your phone click on the "home tab" then select "Browse skills"2. Click the magnifying class search button at the top and search for "roku"; select the app with the bubble that has "Roku" in purple text3. Click Enable to Use. A browser tab will open. Click "Accept and Continue"4. You'll need to sign into your Roku account if it doesn't automatically sign you in.5. It will find the TV you set up. Click "Link to Alexa App"6. It will ask you to autolink new Roku Devices. Select your preference.7. Click "continue to alexa app"8. It will say "your roku accont has been successfully linked". Click close.9. It will search for your TV and can take a few minutes. After that you are all set to begin using voice commands.10. On your TV sign in with your account info you just set up, it will give you a pin. Go back to your browser11. Enter the pin that was on the TV.12. Continue on through your preferences. You do not have to subscribe to channels or enter into a subscription. it will ask you to set up a payment, but you will not be charged anything at anytime unless you opt in.

Slow response to remote
It's a nice television, especially for the price, but it has a bunch of little things that irk me. First, the good: It looks good, no doubt about it. It's light as a feather, so if you want to wall mount it or whatever, I doubt you'll have problems, or if you live on the fourth floor like me, it's no big deal. It has lots of HDMI ports, and still supports coax and component. The audio is great to me, but I'm no audiophile. The things I dislike, though: Most importantly, its response to the remote varies wildly. Sometimes it will do what you hit the button for right away. Sometimes you'll hit the button three or four times before it responds to the first one... then it will catch up. About equally important, if you ask me: It's entirely driven by Roku, so it's littered with ads. I thought this was a television with a Roku built in, but it's the other way around. The image adjustments also bug the heck out of me. They're dealt with on an input-by-input basis, which is nice, but there's nothing for the applications or a global setting, as far as I can see. The Youtube application, for example, looks like it's on a television in vivid color settings, though nothing else looks that way on it. Last that occurs to me right now is that doing anything other than pretty basic use isn't documented anywhere in the manual or on anything the television recommends to you. If you want to do that stuff, you'd better have your web browser ready.Overall: Good television for the price, but has a lot of annoyances so far.Update after a few months: I'm bumping this television down another star. The applications crash fairly regularly, sometimes it has a laughably slow response to the remote, and it somehow has problems communicating with my wireless access point, which is less than a meter away. My computer, which is across the room, has no problem pulling down all the bandwidth it wants. As far as I can tell, there isn't even an ethernet port, so I'm stuck with its poor wifi reception. I'm seriously considering getting a Fire stick or something like that so I can use its system as little as possible. I'd recommend looking somewhere else if you want to buy a television.Update again: Performance continued to get worse, particularly in the Netflix application, so I snooped around the internet a bit. It suggested removing Netflix, doing a system restart, then reinstalling Netflix. I did all that, and somehow, it not only fixed my Netflix problems, but improved performance in all other areas, too. I don't know if it was the system restart that fixed things, or Netflix really was messing up everything on the set, but I'm putting it back at three stars.

not built as sturdy as the TCL TV's
I've had a TCL 32" TV with built-in Roku, maybe a 2015 model. Near the time of getting the 43" HiSense (around Thanksgiving 2020) I had my wireless router modem replaced (after ten years)--just a fact that may be related to some details. The TCL was built much more sturdily. The HiSense frame can flex noticeably depending on how the TV is carried. My new TV may have recently been off the assembly line and the living room had what I call an "electrical" smell for a few days from the unwrapped TV. I had some trouble putting on the "feet". They are labeled L and R however when I chose what direction to look at the TV I must have gotten it reversed. Also, the longer part of the feet seem to attach fairly well. Bigger HiSense TV's seem to have different style feet and maybe they are unlikely to be puzzling. I notice stereo separation more however the sound does not seem as robust in some way as the TCL. I'm still using the HiSense and would not want to set it aside and go back to the TCL. I had hoped to use a direct ethernet line from my router to the TV (had heard that 43" TV's had ethernet connections) however this TV did not seem to. Finally, the last piece of celophane tape protecting the frame during shipping that went around the frame on the outer edge was not quite as evident as packing material as the other tape. I thought it could be part of the sealant, however, there was a buzz in the audio so I pursued it and found that outer edge tape to remove fairly easily once I could grasp the edge of the tape.

Good quality product for the price.
Last year, I dropped DirecTv and switched to HULU streaming. This was a replacement tv for my 39" one. I had a ROKU box on both of my tvs already but the box for this one was an older model and wouldn't work with HULU. Since this comes with ROKU, it is a nice addition. The old tv was still good so I gave the it to a friend. Once all the setup was done and I started testing all the channels, etc. The picture was okay but not great - slightly blurry. My son said the Wi-Fi signal from the router was not strong enough being 3 rooms away. I was able to buy a Wi-Fi Range extender and set it to sync it to the Wi-Fi and then plug it in a receptacle closer to the tv. That made all the difference. Now the picture is nice and clear. If you have the same problem with the tv, there's a solution.

Perfect for the bedroom
I got a good price on this 43" TV and am pleased overall after several months. Set up was easy and it picks up a lot more local channels with my indoor antenna than it predecessor. The picture and sound are good. There is a huge lag from the remote to the task -hitting the pause button takes about 3 seconds for it to pause. Volume is also delayed. I quickly got used to it and accept the little quirk. These new ROKU TVs have so many channels on them! My only TV with Directv will switch to this model in the 65" design once it flakes out and I will easily say goodbye to monthly tv bills.
