Berserk (2016): The Complete Series

It's awful.

If I had only seen the English dub version included on this set, I would have given it three or four stars, as the CGI-heavy animation style is a bit off-putting. However, having rewatched it in the original Japanese with subtitles, I can report that the occasional glitchy moments are a lot less annoying, as a lot of my attention is absorbed by reading the text. In fact, I'm growing rather fond of it! I paid £42 and change for my copy, and I see that the price has risen by over £10, so I am very happy with my purchase!

exactly what you would expect awesome anime tons of action and good sound qualitypersonally im not a huge fan of the animation style but its cool to have the anime extended the 97 version is better but i think most anime from the 80s-90s is better

Bad

Like the headline says, this is a perfectly fine way to watch Berserk. Idk why fans are so angry about the animation style, sure it can be a little distracting but that doesn’t warrant all the crazy insults they hurl.The animation may not be everyone’s cup of tea but that’s fine. It’s not that big of a deal.Anyways, I hosted a berserk viewing party and showed a few newbies what the series is about then let them read the manga and they had fun!

Sono molto appassionato di Berserk e nonostante questa serie sia stata demonizzata da chiunque ho comunque deciso di acquistare una copia per completezza della mia collezione. Non è stata spedita con le adeguate misure di sicurezza (all'interno di una semplice busta) ed infatti la copertina è leggermente danneggiata in un punto, probabilmente per qualche botta presa durante il viaggio. Un vero peccato...prezzo decisamente alto per il contenuto (€ 80)
