These work great for blocking a draft or light from under any door. They have a textured base, so they won't slip around on hard surface flooring. They work on carpeted floors as well. Weighted perfectly to stay in place, but still very easy to pick up and move around.

I bought these to block a little cold leaking though at the bottom of my entry doors. The weight of these is sufficient to keep them in place and keep the cold from leaking in. Just what I was hoping for.

I've been searching long and hard to find something to cover the insane draft that oozes into my place from my patio door. Although there aren't that many options out there, there are definitely several to choose from. Some are REALLY long and/or pretty thick. Some just weren't big enough or thick enough. Eventually I narrowed down my search to either a really long and thick one or these two medium size yet still fairly thick ones. It was a hard choice! I mean, who wouldn't like one that is really long and thick for about the same price?! But it isn't always about want. Its about practicality and need. These two were the more practical choice and really the most effective/efficient. Having two medium size thick ones were the best choice because they fit perfectly, leaving little to no areas uncovered, whereas the longer one would have inevitably resulted in some areas not getting proper coverage we all desire. What's even better is this provides you with the materials needed to keep them in place and it doesn't ruin the product nor the covers of said product! I am very pleased with my purchase in so many ways and very much recommend them to anyone who has a fairly large patio door! Bigger isn't always better!

The media could not be loaded. Great product. Does everything is says. Strong zipper, washable, enough weight to seal the door. Has a rubber studded traction strip on the bottom and a side handle to hang it. Prevents you from having to keep repositioning it. Just set it up and forget it. The only thing missing are a few thumbtacks (or heavy duty staples) to hold the adhesive against a wooden door but those really aren't that expensive. I would use a hot glue gun on metal doors. Make sure you follow instructions and heat it with a hairdryer to activate the seal. Works well indoors and good value for two. Can be used on tile or carpet but open door slowly on carpet to protect the adhesive strip. If you are using it on outdoor doors you can easily add glass beads to increase the weight. I like the product's color, length, shape, fabric quality and price. However, it......as other reviewers have commented.......... it needs MORE WEIGHT, at least for my application. I totally understand WHY they're shipped this way, since shipping is usually based on WEIGHT. You're getting 2 of these stoppers so as is, they weigh a little over 2 lbs each. They also come with velcro sticky tape if you wish to mount these on a permanent basis.I'm using them at the base of 2 patio door walls. During winter months , I shrink wrap the inside of my patio door walls, which face WEST over a lake. In Northern Michigan we get some wicked winds from the West or North West and even though I have top quality windows and door walls, that wind will come through the bottom tracks. You can feel the cold air on your feet if you sit by it. The shrink wrap helps 99.9% ......... but...... the winds cause the plastic wrap to really billow into the room..... and will cause the wrap attached to double sided sticky tape at the bottom to come loose. I bought these to help prevent that. Unfortunately, they are NOT HEAVY ENOUGH. I understand the cost of shipping heavier ones would make it prohibitively expensive. So, since each one of the 2 you get has a zipper for laundering. I intend to purchase some pint sized plastic zip bags, fill them with playground type sand and add the amount of weight I want placed against the track's sill keeping the shrink wrap intact. I'll remove the added sandbags for storage.

Simple item. Even with good weatherstripping the best of doors can have a little bit of a draft coming in from underneath, especially on cold days. This worked well to keep those drafts out enough to notice a temperature change in the house.

These are really convenient and keep the draft from coming underneath my doors. They are made very well and hang up easy on the hook on the wall when I’m done with them.
