Perfect part for my washer
It came quickly, it was super easy to install. Has been working great! Cheaper than the factory part and came so much quicker!

Replaced broken washer pump with loose impeller
2010 Kenmore vertical modular washer stopped draining water. Could hear the pump spinning without pumping water out. This replacement pump fit perfectly and fixed the problem. Photo of bottom of washer with washer pump removed. Rubber seal on pump goes into plastic opening with 6 pointed star. pump outlet goes into drain hose secured by spring clamp. Can view a YT video "How to Replace the Drain Pump on a Kenmore Vertical Modular Washer (VMW)" After replacing the pump was able to repair the old pump by drying the impeller and filling it with hot melt glue before pressing back on the motor but can't say how long this might work.

Wow! Cheap and easy fix!
I spent 20 or 30 minutes watching videos on how to troubleshoot my washer. Found out how to activate the error code display. That suggested a problem with draining, which I could see anyway. But it helped confirm. So I took a chance and replaced this pump. 1/5 of the price for the part compared to big parts websites. Took 10 minutes. Just tilt the washer on its front side, remove old pump, replace, tilt back up. 3 screws and 2 hoses. Very easy.Important! After you replace pump, go back to diagnostic feature and run the "calibration" cycle. This helps the machine detect the new pump and adjust itself.After 2 or 3 minute calibration, washer works again.I noticed old pump was scorching hot when I removed it. You can also do a resistance test on the pump, but I kind of figured it was dead and didn't bother testing resistance.
