Great kit to start painting with! Love Bob Rosst
Learning to paint with oils was always intimidating for me. After looking at varieties of kits and types of oils, I decided on this kit. It’s wonderful. I’m just learning techniques after watching so many of his videos and it was very helpful because all the necessary items are in this kit. I had to buy some canvases and an easel, but outside of that I had all the things I need it for anyone who is beginning to paint I would recommend this. I started doing a couple of small paintings just to get a feel for it and technique, so I’m not great at it but I do enjoy doing it.

Third rate brushes to start…
Absolute junk for $300. Worst brushes I’ve ever purchased. Replaced them all with another brand. First box had busted paints all in it. Stay away from anything Bob Ross. It’s not even his family and someone is selling cheap crap with his picture and likeness. He would be ashamed if he were still alive…..

Though it took awhile to receive, it was all intact. Looking forward to finally painting

Great for beginners
Purchased for my father who has Parkinson. He was enjoyed painting when I was younger. He enjoyed this set and has started painting again. Would recommend this to anyone looking to start or get back into painting.

Is the "Gift Box" really a supply?
Fault of the seller: The product I received was a re-pack. All the items were there, but the liquid base coats had been opened and there was some leakage. The box was not not properly sealed.Fault of manufacturer: The box said 33 supplies which included on the list is the "Gift Box" How tacky. There was no instuction sheet in the box.I am looking forward to using the product.

The basecoats and paints leak in packaging.
The media could not be loaded. I'm really excited to get started with these. My first order came in with paints and basecoats leaking in the packages. The base coats are important to this method of painting.This kit is awfully expensive to recieve it in this condition. After opening the box of base coats the clear and white are no good. Not satisfied with this at all. No base coats = all this is useless.

Faulty Brush
The #6 filbert fell apart with 1st use. I was left holding a pile of hog hairs after wiping the brush with a paper towel. 😩
