I have bad allergies to the dust in clay cat litters, so I was looking for an affordable healthy alternative. So far this is working out great. It’s a bit more tedious because the pellets do not clump when their wet, instead they either kind of puff out in pellet form while wet, or dissolve into wet dust. I have to carefully move the dry pellets that are on top and around the wet ones, then I use a spatula spoon to scoop the wet pellet's and wet dust out. I’ve never had a pool of pee below the pellets so they are great at absorbing. The poop is pretty easy with a regular slitted scooper. Pick poop up and jiggle scooper a bit until the pellets fall back out. I add a little more fresh pellets. I keep the stainless steel litter box filled about 1.5 - 2” and scoop daily. My cat seems to be fine with this litter and the transition went very well. First I did half and half then gradually transitioned to more and more of the pellets over maybe about 3 weeks until it was completely wheat pellets. I’ve never caught her eating them. She will bat them around from time to time if a stray one is hanging out on the floor lol. And that’s another awesome thing about these pellets. Only a few here and there fly out with her, so no more tiny litter pieces everywhere! There’s also no dust and decent enough odor control when she is a good kitty and covers her poop. I’m very happy with this litter and will continue to use it.

Absolutely the best
This is the best litter for all small pet it's super absorbent and has a great smell I've tried many different litters for my bunnies and this is by far the best I've had. clean up is super easy and it's super order and moisture absorbing, witch helps keep your buns booty clean I scoop it everyday and use plant based disinfectant wipes to clean in their pee spots after scooping gives a better percentage on your buns not getting bacterial infections on their legs and ur UTI. It is by far the best litter for a small pets. Also it is all natural wheat witch is definitely Eco friendly, also safe if they happen to eat some. By far the Best in my opinion. Price is very reasonable for the quality and benefits you get from the product in the long run💯👍

Worth the extra money
Bought 2 guinea pigs from a pet store. This iteam was not mentioned, but they promoted the Natural Aspen. I got a few splinters while cleaning the felt pads. Since the pigs relax in their litter trays, wasn't much thought to hurry and change for a safer, and more comfortable solution. The Eco Straw is more $, but, by far more superior. It is cleaner. Moisture retention great. I clean the cage 3xs a day. As far as scooping- their droppings are almost the same size, so I wear gloves to manually remove. But they seem to like it better, because they use it very consistently and still relax in the tray that doesn't have any wetness. If ingested, no problem, because it's made of straw

Keeps smell under control
I put this under the Aspen in the rat cages. Great stuff, don't forget to clean regularly, the pieces will eventually turn to powder when wet

Great litter - Shipping packaging issue
Love the product for rabbit litter however; the shipping constantly has no packaging and the boxes break with the item broken as well. Have gotten replacements due to the shipping.

Best litter for small animals
My favorite litter. No tracking, nice light smell, controls urine smell very well, easy to clean, urine sifts to the bottom and top pellets stay dry, safe for small animals. I use a 1" layer and every other day i clean: i wear a disposable glove, push top clean litter to side, scoop up soiled litter on bottom and dispose in a bag, top off with fresh litter. I use a puppy pee pad underneath the litter. I do a full change out every week.

Soooo Much Better than Other Types of Litter!
This is an excellent alternative to shavings or shredded paper. It absorbs the odor especially well! Easy to use and cleanup is a breeze. The pellets are very absorbent and stay in their litter pan, unlike some of the alternatives. The best part is that it is dust-free!

If you Have a Bunny - You WANT This
Since I found this stuff, I swear by it for our (not so) little bunny. This absorbs almost all smell and allows us to clean the litter box less often. It's the best working option we've found!
