Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise Canceling Over-Ear Headphones (Silver) Bundle with Headphone Hanger Mount (2 Items)

1000XM4 was my first Over the Ear & ANC Headphone that I bought after going through plenty of reviews and comparisons between this and Bose 700.I am not disappointed with my decision to go with Sony.The Main selling point is that Noise cancelling was cancelling all the constant buzzing sounds.The sound quality is really good compared to In-Ears.Got 3 months of Tidal Master subscription with 360 degree sound and Master Tracks which was on another level compared to 320kbps MP3.Comfort is also good but getting some ear pain after wearing continuously for >5 hours.Been using them for attending meeting in Zoom/Teams. The sound is crisp and clean but I am getting some issues in microphone eventhough the WiFi network is great.Also works during gaming with Surround sound effects in PC.LDAC only works when the Multipoint Feature is OFF.The Headphones connect app has all types of features such as DSEE Extreme, In Ear optimizer for 360 Sound, Equalizer with 2 Custom options and much more.Got it in an offer for $278 in BlackFriday 2020.Overall, If you got $300 to spend on headphones, then look no further in 2021 Jan.

These are similar to beats but lighter, more comfortable, more noise-cancelling, and work MUCH better in the COLD. My beats shut down anytime the temps went below 25F. These will shut down in the cold, but I use them down to 15F or maybe a little colder before they shut down. To my ears, the sound isn't quite as good as Beats, but still 90% as good. The software is a joke however, trying to sell you downloads, and voice activation simply ruins your listening experience, but you can shut off voice activation to avoid this problem. Great headphones.

Alright soooo I do like the noise cancellation however I don’t think they’re worth 300+ ngl. I expected it to be mind blowing and it was good but not worth all the hype. When you play music above halfway they can be heard by others, which I don’t mind really, but I wish they were a bit louder ngl. I also struggle with the app a little, but I’m sure that’ll get easier. In conclusion they’re good! But if I could go back I’d get the Apple headphones instead. Battery life is good, they’re comfy if you have piercings as well, and the mic is good for phone calls. They fell of my head a few times so durability is also there’s. Overall performance score: 7.5/10

I have 4 pair of Sony xm series headphones in my house now. I personally use the 1000xm3 headphones and 1000xm4 earbuds and will purchase nothing else when it comes to noise canceling audio equipment. Super comfortable, I've worn these for 9.5 hours at work with no issue (and I wear glasses) you will not be disappointed!

Needed to replace the Bose headphones that I loved for their comfort but suffered the fatal “will not turn off” flaw. Almost just bought the same pair but decided to try these instead. Excellent quality, easy to customize, and crazy comfortable

These have saved my sanity. Work perfectly to cover up unwanted noise and deliver crisp sound. Movies are amazing with these on.

Final update on this review. The headset still seems to have a mind of its own and disconnects from my PC at random times. There is clearly a problem with the drivers. It is now sitting in the trash can.When listening to music with my phone via BT, all is well, but when listening to a streaming show via my computer, the headset randomly stops working and has to be restarted to get sound going again. VERY frustrating. I also found there is a feature called "speak to chat" (or something like that), which causes the headset to stop playing sound when you talk. Also a very frustrating until I learned how to disable that "feature" by holding two fingers against the left ear muff. For some reason, it turns this on again by itself rather than saving the setting. Even with that option disabled, the headset still stops play sound randomly. I'll be looking for a different brand ASAP.
