Nintendo Chibi-Robo Amiibo - Nintendo Wii U

I love this Cibi-Robo! I just wish Nintendo would release the orgininal gamecube game on the WiiU! That would be perfect!At the moment this Amiibo only works with the 3ds Chibi-Robo game, but it's one of the coolest Amiibos around. I got him with my Chibi-Robo game, but I also bought him separately. I bought him separately because I want to leave him in the box and I think he looks cooler in this packaging than in the packaging that came in the box. The Amiibo that comes with the game is a shorter than normal box. The Amiibo is the same, but the packaging is different.If you're worried about the packaging, order two and they'll put them in a box like mine. I got them in great condition! Sorry to those of you who got a beat up Amiibo!

I purchased this just because I have *many* fond memories from the original Chibi Robo game on the GameCube.It is a simple beautiful Amiibo, with shiny metallic paint, dark but Friendly bulging little eyes, and a fantastically detailed plug. Hard to resist picking him up. Brings back some fond memories with him in the palm of your hand.I only have like 10 Amiibos, but this is my absolute fav! If you are/were a Chibi Robo Fan from back in the GameCube days you *need* this!Be aware though, only adds functionality to a handful of games on the Wii-U and won't really do anything with Switch. Unfortunately, I no longer have my Wii-U but that's OK. It is still a wonderful addition!

This has been on a bucket list to find. I have been playing Chibi Robo since Christmas and was wondering how the game play would change with the Amibo. The second floor opened up once the Amibo was activated and a mini game that looks like a gumball machine activated. You can use your earned coins to play and earn figurines. Also the change of color when the Amibo is active while playing levels is a great feature. I'm really glad I purchased this. You also can use the Amibo in the mini game on the 3ds.

It's really up to the user. I picked up several recently because they were on a good sale. And might never play with them in game, but they look awesome on a shelf.My kids ages 6 and 9 are also fans of them.This guy is specifically for a 3DS game starring Chibi Robo. But works in a few others as well.

The amiibo box had no support in the shipping box and amiibo box top half was completely folded over almost ripping the cardboard off. I'm not a 'Mint Condition' collector and I take them out of the boxes to use the amiibos in games, so this had little to no effect on my overall rating. Just figure I'd put my note to warn those who are looking for mint condition.

Woo hoo! Another amiibo!Based on the feedback from other buyers, I wanted to hit this one from three angles: figure, packaging, and value.The FigureThis is, personally, one of my more favorite amiibos. The pose and detail of Chibi-Robo offer a lot more personality than many of the others which just "stand there" if you will. The detail with the plug and wire, the metallic gloss of the paint, and even the grass on the base are just simply well done and, I think, show good attention to detail.The PackagingI had no issues at all with the packaging and condition of my piece. This may be due to whoever packed my order, the carrier who shipped it, or even my local delivery person. Basically, don't hold off on ordering because you assume it will come damaged. Even if it does, Amazon's customer service is typically top-tier and I'm confident they'll work with you to make it right.The ValueThis is the only part I have any reservations about. I pre-purchased two of these figures because they were an exclusive. However, almost three weeks later they are still readily available from Amazon. At this rate, I don't expect them to gain value over time (like the Mega Yarn Yoshis from Toys R Us as an example) and I'm not even sure if they will retain their current value for possible resale down the road as a collectable. Oh well, as always only time will tell.

In all honesty this is one of my favorite amiibos. Chibi Robo is cute and simple so they are perfect for a small figurine.One major downside is the packaging. It arrived in a simple box as almost all other amazon products do but it was large enough for it, and the other product to rattle around far too much. The casing for the amiibo ended up bent to hell. Yeah im just going to take it out and put it on a shelf but what if this were an amiibo that i would have rather kept in the original case?yeah it was cheap so whatever but it still sucks imo
