Our chair arrived yesterday. From unpacking to finished assembly it took about an hour. (Note:...I recommend putting it together in the room where it will be used. We had to take the bottom back off to get it through the doorway.) This is a true boss's chair. It's big and comfortable and well made. My hubby is 6'3" and I'm 5'5". It fit's him perfectly and at the lowest setting I almost need a short stool. My feet will go flat on the floor but that puts a little pressure on the back of my thighs.About the assembly...If you follow the directions EXACTLY it becomes apparent why people say they have problems getting the arms to line up. It says to NOT tighten the bolts that fit the back to the seat. That's so there will be enough play in it to fit the arms into position. There are little ridges on the parts that stick out of the chair where the arms bolt on. I'm pretty sure that is what causes the popping sound that some have noticed when tightening them down. We bolted the arms on and tightened them about 95% then returned to the bottom and tightened the bolts on the bottom completely(as tight as you can)...then back to the arms to completely tighten them. If there's any play in the arm at this point, try to tighten some more. Ours came out perfectly... good and tight...no play or wobbles. Day 1...this is a wonderful chair. No regrets. If anything changes I'll come back and let you know but for now we're very happy. WAY better than anything we looked at in this price range at the office stores.

I was unsure how this chair would work for me since it is a big and tall chair and I am just 5'11" and about 190. Prior to buying this chair, I had purchased the La-Z-Boy Bellamy. I had to return it because the "headrest" was hitting about the middle of my shoulders and was uncomfortable. This chair is just about perfect. Lots of padding in the seat, and the headrest, unlike so many office chairs, really is where my head is. It has moderate lumbar support, which is just right for me (others may like more lumbar but this works for my back). My only "wish" is that it would go a tad bit lower to the floor. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. I've been using this chair for about 3 months now.

This chair is fantastic! Its soft, The Height doesn't slide down when you sit on it, its fantastic. I wanted the BIg and Tall Chair because i'm 6'3 280 - the Chair says its rated for 350lbs, Got it May 5th and One of the Legs broke off Aug 22. They're clearly rated for less than 350lbs.Needless to say now I need to find a good diet and another comfortable sturdy chair that will support my weight.

This is a big, comfortable chair. It looks great, and is very comfortable compared to all of the chairs I sat in at stores before taking a chance on this one from Amazon. I'm a big guy, 6' 2" and 190 lbs. The back is as tall as I am. I can sit back and have my head supported. I really like the chair. It is only bonded leather, but it looks and feels much nicer than almost any other bonded leather chair I've seen.It has a few problems which cost it one star. The first is that it will not lower enough. I'm tall, so I don't mind that too much, but it leaves very little room for my legs beneath the keyboard stand on my desk. There are also some quality issues which shouldn't be there in a chair this expensive. One arm screw would not go all the way in because the hole was too shallow. I used a shorter screw from the old chair I was replacing. There is a also small gap in the stitching near the top on one side. It isn't very visible, but it speaks to the shortcuts taken in manufacturing.Overall, I'd have to say that this is the best desk chair I've owned. I hope it lasts a long time.

Great chair. I bought this for one employee in particular that was in need of a sturdier chair than we had in our office. This chair looks great and is very comfortable. When she is not at work, we borrow her chair for the day as it is so much more comfortable than the others in the office. It seems to be of great quality although I will update that when we've had the chair longer. When considering this chair, we were looking for a "Big and Short" chair, as opposed to a "Big and Tall" chair. Apparently those don't exist. Our only choice was to get a Big and Tall chair and hope it would work. This chair DOES work though for shorter people. The girl who uses this chair is an even 5'. If she sits back in her chair all the way, she is not able to touch the floor. We gave her a footstool for underneath her desk so she wasn't dangling all the time. The chair is easy for her to slide in and out of. One of the men in the office is 6'1". When he sits in the chair he can lay his head back on the headrest comfortably. I am 5'4" and the top of the chair lines up with the top of my head. My feet have no problems touching the floor. After a month of heavy use the leather finish has held up well. We are planning to purchase these chairs for the rest of the office.
