I think this is a good sugar substitute. It does add a bit of a smoky flavor, but you get used to it and not in a bad way. It dissolves very well and produces a moderately sweet taste.

I love this sugar however one caveat if you use it for hot beverages such as coffee your perception of sweetness may be significantly diminished.I use it in my protein drinks and it's sweetening power is great because the beverage is room temperatureCurrently I mix it with Florida Crystals raw organic cane sugar.

I like healthy organic food and this fits the bill. My husband uses it on his cereal every morning.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Great coconut sugar. First order came in perfect condition. Second order just arrived and it was thrown in a bag with other Amazon orders. Consequently the bag must have been squished and popped. My other items were covered in coconut sugar. Disappointing to say the least.

Great product & great supplier. One shipment was damaged & they replaced it the very next day with no problems at all!
