First 100 Words (Bright Baby First 100) Board book – Import, July 7, 2005

My son LOVES this book. It is his favorite book out of the hundreds that he already has. When he was smaller he would just point at picture after picture so we would say the word. Now is vocabulary is growing so much he can almost say everything in here. He is constantly bringing us this book to look through and it's actually starting to fall apart only because of how much we use it. We have the large board book version and would buy it again. Have already bought it for 2 baby shower gifts.

This book is the European version. Instead of sippy cup, it's a "beaker." It's not a bed, it's a "cot." Not stroller, "pram" instead. There are several other examples, but I can't remember them all (I had bought this as a gift - embarrassed to say the least). I guess it's okay, since this book is intended to teach words by looking at the pictures, not how to spell or recognize the actual words. The North American version gets 5 stars!

For the price I paid, expected it to be in better shape then it was. Thought I was getting a new book.

My grandson really loves books and this one is rather lame and sits on the shelf.

more like 97 words! Pajamas, car, and ball are repeated. Who is the editor of this book anyway?
