13.00 for an over the top too sweet 7 oz drink NOPE
This was a big disappointment. For this price you should get a pitcher of the stuff! Thought I would give it a try! Back to my standard Gatorade in orange!

More scientific than Gatorade.
This seems to work fine and the formulation is well-designed. It's hard to dissolve and I didn't much care for the flavor when it wasn't entirely dissolved. The packaging is convenient. More scientific than Gatorade. Potassium, the most critical ingredient in rehydration, is not absorbed efficiently unless coupled with a source of calories, such as a carbohydrate. However sugar tends to dehydrate. Ceralyte uses rice syrup powder which makes a hypotonic solution and doesn't tend to dehydrate. Sure beats going to a hospital for IV electrolyte replacement. The purchaser should consider: If your dehydration was caused by bad water, you're not going to get better until you have good water, like distilled water, in which to dissolve this product. The 10gm packet makes only 7 ounces of solution, so you're going to need a lot of packets in order to overcome a significant dehydration. Some of these distribution options cost a lot more for shipping than for the active ingredients.

Don’t buy this from them. It was one small packet.

CeraLyte 70
I think this is probably a very good product, but I ended up having to throw it away because I had a problem with the sweetner that they use in this product. It did help my dehydration while I was taking it, but I ended up with an adverse reaction to the sweetner. I have now started drinking Resource from Walmart and it is working well and is cheaper.
