I thought I had bought just one, so it was a pleasant surprise to find that they come in boxes of two! They certainly do work, and are stylish in appearance. Very useful for bottles of spirits which (in my case anyway!) tend to last a long time.

This is a very good gadget which is easy to use. However, it can't really suck out that much of the air so prevent the wine from oxidation. This can keep the wine fresh for a day or two. At the end I turned to Foodsaver bottle stopper as I have one of their vacuum sealer machine, which is able to suck out way more air by it's vacuum pump.I would still recommend this though for using this outdoor maybe.

Just started using these bottle stoppers and they seem to be doing the job. The vacuum is still there when removing the stoppers.Not having a separate tool to remove the air is a bonus.

Opened a bottle of red at a friend's on New Year. Put one of these stoppers in and then forgot about it.Fast forward one month, the bottle finally came home, pulled out the stopper and it's still drinkable! It's not cork fresh, but there's not many bottles you'd fancy drinking after a month of opening.

I don’t think it really keeps the drink fresh, just fresh-er perhaps but it’s not like magic that a week later your Prosecco is still as if you just opened it. I waste a bit less alcohol now but i don’t think it keeps it a full week. There’s a side taste pretty soon. In my observations, while it doesn’t leak if you keep it horizontally, the wine gets caught in the mechanism and is a bit of a pain to get out. Have successfully used on a Prosecco bottle. It seems a bit touch and go on screw top bottles. Still no leaks but I’m not sure it forms a tight seal.

Husband has complex neuropathic which makes his hands/arms weak and limited grip. This stopper is so easy for him to use with very little effort

I might get through a bottle of prosecco a week, so was throwing a lot away as it went flat. Now it stays bubbly to the last drop, so these babies (there are two in each pack) pay for themselves. Push the stoppers onto the bottle quite firmly, and pump until the button is nearly flush with the top. Simple. One star lost because the vacuum leaks a tiny bit and slowly, so you have to pump it now and then to maintain the vacuum - and the bubbles. But if you're happy to do that, this is a cheap and simple solution to a wasteful problem. Cheers!

A fantastic product, it took a little bit of getting use to to make sure the stopper was in correctly when trying to vacuum it but once mastered works very well! I found I wasn't pushing the stopper far enough down it first and this didn't make as good of a seal as when it's further down.I've had half a bottle of prosecco in the fridge for over three weeks and I've taken the top off today and it's popped like when you open a new bottle and it's still fizzy. Not quite is much as when freshly opened but still pleasant.
