Lenox 879592 Holiday Tree Shaped Party Plate, Christmas Hosting

This is quite small, but, if you think of it as a christmas tree bread and butter plate, it works well. How it happened for me was I was using it on a charcuterie place setting, and one person used it for her bread and butter knife, spread and cocktail bread etc. It just adds a bit of class to the table. I was disappointed in the size as I was expecting it to be larger, but it has really worked out. On the table you could add a few raspberries, or other light fruits as palete cleanser, a few candies for after dinner, something clever. It is ideal for many things. I purchased two, and now I am adding two more to my set. It has worked out beautifully, unexpected.

It was a gift for a friend and she loves it. She puts candy in it.

I ordered this for candy for our friends. It really is too small for a substantial amount of candy. I made a wrong choice.

I am actually using this as a spoon rest because I couldn't find anything,(what little I found that I actually liked, was already sold out). I don't mind because this fits in with a classic Christmas style, and is also simple elegance. I may purchase more because I think this could be used in many ways at Christmas time.
