Awesome and very useful book!
After having converted to a sauerkraut freak on my doctor's orders, I realized just how powerful fermented foods could be. He told me that healing my leaky gut syndrome would be best if I tried kefir and/or yogurt as well. Since I've never really liked yogurt I bought this book on making my own water kefir. Wow! Great decision!I read the entire book in one sitting and it was exactly what I'd hoped for and then some. It taught me very clearly and concisely about kefir, how to make it, what I need to buy to get started (not much!), potential problems, and how to make awesome fizzy drinks like I used to buy at the organic grocery. I haven't yet created my first batch of kefir, but I've ordered the necessary components and when they arrive I'll be brewing up a storm. This is a really great book and I didn't have a single unanswered question by the end of it (thanks to the Frequently Asked Questions section). I'm going to read it again before I make my first batch of water kefir to make sure I get it right, but for now I'm just going through the recipes and trying to decide which one I want to start with (vanilla cream soda and mango pineapple are my top choices at the moment). Many of these short ebooks are garbage and I always hope for the best despite getting some real lemons from time to time, but luckily this one is great! The author even offers to ship you kefir grains to get started--now that's integrity!

Not really worth the asking price.
I couldn't give this short (33 page) ebook a four or five star rating. It's got some good info in it, such as history, recipes, etc. But it's really not enough to justify the $2.99 price. I've found everything in this short book for free on the internet, and especially youtube videos all for free. Save your money for the simple ingredients to make your Kefir. Your Mastery of Water Kefir will come with experience not by this 5 minute read which is far from "complete".

Get some!
This book is exactly what I was looking for. Not only does it make learning how to make water kefir easy, but you come out at the end really knowing your stuff! I would recommend it to anyone trying to simply make this a creative hobby, or someone who is really trying to set the world on fire in this new water kefir revolution. I purchased this book to make water kefir for myself on a small scale. And already I've got so much I'm practically giving it away. Turns out I'm not the only one honing in my skills with this healthy, gratifyingly simple way to dramatically boost your health, and the health of those around you. I'm absolutely satisfied with this book and the results I have achieved. Good luck ;]

Love water and milk kifer, keeps Me healthy!
I loved the book, as I have been making both water and milk kifer for years. They say you get the most healthy microbes with both. My vitamix blends all the good fruits and knobs of ginger and turmeric etc. for the second ferment. This puree gets mixed with the kefir, the milk kefir blends well and ferments in six to eight hours. The water kefir separates with the puree rising to the top so I place a wide, long straw inside the bottle to vent it. The next day it will sink to the bottom and it is done . You need to invert carefully after cooling to combine the contents and enjoy!
