Buy lots of cheater readers to have around but good bifocal sunglasses are hard to find. Either they have a Huge magnification circle or they have no style and you look like a dweeb. These are great on both fronts and this is my second pair. Throwing out all the others and sad I spent so much on others. These are great

OK, so these glasses cost $12. For that price they are a bargain. For the few naysayers who expected better, I'm not sure what they expected for $12 haha. I just had cataract surgery in both eyes and suddenly have 20/20 vision but need cheaters to read. These are just what I need before my eyes settle down and I get new lenses on my expensive sunglasses. If they break after a couple of weeks I've already gotten my $12 worth out of them. The lenses are pretty dark and I tend to think the reading part is a little too high. But you know what? Who cares, they only cost $12!Footnote I have a pretty big head and these are a great size for me, maybe even bordering on large. I bet they would look big on someone with a smaller head.

Great for sitting and reading or even in the car for the occasional glance downward to read something. I found these very difficult to walk around though. I bought these to go on a trip to the Mediterranean, visiting ruins, going through airports, and walking in various parts of cities. During the constant walking up and down steps, I discovered the glasses were more of an impairment, almost causing me to fall as I was trying to look down at my feet as we traveled up and down various levels and uneven pavement. I could not wear them at all outside when I most needed them due to distortion of vision. If you are sitting and reading, these are fine. If you are wearing them while moving and needing to look down at your feet as to where your next step is, not so great.

Excellent reading sunglasses! I usually use 1.25 magnification, but ordered 1.50 since these are dark glasses. Perfect! I brought them to the beach and loved that I could see reading material clearly, but could also look up and enjoy the view because the space above the reading lens area was large and comfortable. Yet the magnifying area was the right size, too. The lenses are dark enough to block bright sunlight and the frames are sturdy and comfortable. They also come with a nice, zippered hard case for protection. I'm so glad I bought these! I had looked into clip-on shades, over-reading-glasses shades, etc, but those would have been bulky or wouldn't have let me enjoy the view when I looked up. I searched a long time before landing on these and I hope I can save you the work by sharing my experience.

I ordered these because my wife "adopted" the pair I had reviewed earlier. With the wire frames instead of plastic, these are a little lighter, maybe a shade more comfortable on one's face during extended wearing. I think I like the wire frames a little better than the heavier plastic ones, but I'm not sure they will prove as durable. They look like they would bend more easily, but probably would not break completely. Neither case worries me greatly, as I'm reasonably careful with eyeglasses. Great for reading or other near tasks in strong light!

When I purchased two styles from the display I finally picked a pair of SOMEthing my little wife likes - so much so that she wants another pair but different color! However I KNEW I would probably be pressing my luck to order another pair that are similar but not the same !! She loves the OTHER two pairs (Black Long Arm Bifocal and Tortoise Frames) that was an achievement noteworthy for my summer.SURPRISE ... this model version matched or exceeded my hope!

I was so shocked at the quality of these glasses that I ordered a 2nd pair as soon as I opened them. They look like prescription sunglasses. The style is beautiful and they come in a great case to protect them. These will get alot of use reading by the pool. So glad I found them!!!!

These bifocal sunglasses work fine even though the bifocal part is a sticker on the inside of the glasses. I'm finally able to clearly see the instrument cluster and steering wheel controls in my car. However, I found these glasses to be uncomfortable, especially the nose pads, after less than 30 minutes of wear. I've gone back to wearing my non-bifocal sunglasses.

These glasses are brilliant, no more wearing two pairs of glasses. Anyone needing glasses to read should have these as they block out the sun but allow you to read without having to keep changing glasses.
