So incredibly soft and warm! Design, functionality, material, and fit are great! The attached scarf to pull over the nose, mouth, and cheeks are such a bonus. Definitely the hat and scarf combo you want for extended periods out in the cold. I highly recommend!

This balaclava is everything I wanted/needed it to be. I bought this for walking outdoors during very cold snowstorms where my ears & nose are freezing from the icy wind & the snow is getting in my eyes. This serves that purpose perfectly. The inside is completely lined in soft, plush, faux fur that is incredibly soft and warm. it is just thick enough to keep out the cold but still be breathable. (Having said that, it is still of course difficult to breathe with thick fabric over your nose & mouth, so I really only use the lower half mid-snowstorm & pull it down as a neck covering the rest of the time) I was initially worried about the face covering getting stretched out from being pulled up and down, so that it wouldn't stay up anymore after a while, but so far, I haven't had a problem with that & I've been using it for over a month. So far, It still fits snugly around my face when I need it to. I am able to set it up so there is only a little slit for my eyes during storms and the fabric is thick enough that it catches the snowflakes before they reach my eyes. Love it.

I'm a southern gal from Florida who moved to the midwest this past summer. I got this hat to help combat the bitter wind that makes the midwest infamous. This this is so warm and soft, I spent 3 hrs outside in below freezing weather and it kept me warmer than my gloves. I will be buying a few more!

Does not fit as shown in the picture. May have to do some altering to it before it fits suitable for me.
