I had previously rated this 1 star, as the package only contained an empty case, following my review the vendor contacted me and sent a replacement to my holiday accommodation, which I think was exceptional service. These are ideal to pop into your bag or pocket in order to read the menu in a restaurant, or for checking a bill etc. I bought them to put in my ski bag, as the hard case protects them in the event of a fall.I have amended this post as I previously commented on the shortness of the arms, I have since discovered that they are telescopic and pull out to normal length.

These are quite a nice product and design.I have 3 pairs of these.One I keep on my desk at home.One I keep in my backpack, so whenever I'm wearing the backpack I always have a pair of reading glasses.One pair, I keep in my car... Just in case I have not got my backpack with me!They are just so practical and a great solution to the problem of having to carry reading glasses in a bulky case.I always have a folding pair with me now.... which is just so handy!And great for when you are travelling abroad too, as they are so much smaller and easy to pack.One problem though... and this has happened on every pair....The little black tip cover, that sits on the end of each telescopic arm to stop the sharp edge from rubbing against your ear, becomes loose after a few weeks and then eventually falls off.There comes a point when it falls off and becomes permanently lost and then you need to buy a new pair.(Obviously super-glue is a potential solution to permanently glue the tip to the arm... but I have forgotten each time and end up having to buy new glasses.)Another issue I have with these glasses is whether I consider £24.95 to be good value.I'm not sure I do.I have bought these several times now... so I obviously feel that the value is ok... just not good.I think something between £15-£20 would be a fairer price, especially given the fact that the arm tip covers are not securely fixed to the telescopic arms.I do recommend these folding glasses though as they are just so useful when, for example, when I meet up with friends for a meal at a restaurant.It means I can read the menu!!!They fit so well in my pocket.Overall, a nice product and recommended.

Hard wearing good value for money

...the ordered strength of 2.25 seems to be way off. Comparing to my prescription glasses these are much stronger. It'll do for a backup pair but just be warned. I can't be bothered with return process.

Great for travel, reading, small and compact, ideal as a spare. I am always loosing my glasses! As they are half lenses they are great to look over whilst moving about. For the money a great purchase.

My wife has had two pair of these glasses for a number of years and finds them excellent, they are ideal for evening events when she has a small bag or asks me to put them in my jacket pockets, unfortunately she just broke one pair so these are a replacement .

I was going to give these glasses five stars and write that they were well-made, robust, a great size for carrying in your pocket and the lenses are exceptionally clear.However, I reduced it to four stars because, on the second day the rubber tip at the end of one of the telescopic arms fell off. I needed another pair of glasses to put it back on and now I have to be very careful when extending the arm.I selected these over cheaper ones because they looked more robust and with the exception of the rubber tip I think they are.That said, I am otherwise very pleased with them and when I need another pair (such lightweight glasses don't last for ever) I would buy these again.

Die schwarzen Plastikteile am Ende des Bügels gehen immer ab beim öffnen. Bei einer Brille habe ich Sachen eins verloren. Schade beim dem Preis. Ansonsten eigentlich eine tolle Brille. Wenn sie das noch abstellen könnten wäre die Brille Perfekt , nämlich ohne die Brille die Dinger wieder drauf zu bekommen ist ein Drama.

Qualität und Service schlecht!Wollte Brille zurück schicken aber keine Reaktion sondern nur die Rezession wurde angefragt!Ansonsten kein Interesse am Kunden!Brille wackelt und ist nicht für den täglichen gebrauch bestimmt!
