Large size and the laser engrave beautifully.

These were really lovely slate boards which I bought having recently bought a pizza oven. I wanted these boards to double up as plates when serving up our pizzas in the garden. They were a really good large size and fitted a 12” pizza on easily. They were quite a thick slate and excellent quality although I wouldn’t have used the rope end to hang it up anywhere as these boards were sooooo heavy. Although I loved them, they were very good quality and looked expensive, I did have to return them as they were just too heavy……and that was before the pizza was on them. Because they were so heavy to made the difficult and cumbersome to handle and would also scratch my table surface and worktops with this heavy stone board. I couldn’t carry and steady one of these boards easily in one hand because of their weight. They came very very well packaged and arrived in a huge box wrapped around and around and around with big bubble wrap. In fact the box was so big in comparison to the 2 boards I couldn’t relate to what had been delivered to me from the size of the box. Gorgeous slate boards bu sadly too heavy to be practical for our needs.

These are large enough for the largest pizzas and really sturdy although I wouldn’t use the rope to hang them anywhere personally as they are very heavy. Easy to clean and durable. My only negative comment is that one of mine is very thick compared to the other but I understand as a natural product this is going to happen but I’d rather they were a little more similar but this is a personal opinion

Good but very very heavy

Pizza slates are heavy and large, so plenty of stoarge required, but that was the reason for buying. Good quality product, cleans easily. We did buy a pack of two and the handle had snapped on one, which would be a weak point due to weight.On contacting the company the response was 5 star, couldn't ask for a better service and received a new pizza plate 2 days later. Would buy again, but can see these lasting years, if handled properly.
