This walking dog is absolutely brilliant. I have bought different makes of walking dog for my grandchildren and this is by far superior. This dog seems well made, is sturdy for toddlers to play with and looks great. I bought one of these for one of my granddaughters and a different make for the other. Have had to purchase a second of these due to the superior quality of this toy against the other brand. This dog walks on carpet which many of the others don’t do well at all and it stays upright really well. As for the barking noise, it’s not annoying at all in my eyes. It’s not too loud and I’m sure you can press the button to stop it. It’s no more noisy than any other vocal toy that children play with and just adds to the experience of walking a real doggie like nanny! I can’t vouch for the durability as I have only recently purchased them but so far they look strong and built to last. My granddaughters haven’t stopped playing with them since they were purchased. I am really happy with the two I have just bought and more importantly, so are both my granddaughters. Would purchase again for sure.

Had I been aware of the noises this toy makes before I bought I wouldn't have purchased! I bought for my one year old and he's not that interested yet but my 4 year old loves it. It makes a barking noise which is just about bearable in short stints but also makes a whining noise which is simply horrendous and doggy is now hidden somewhere where kiddos can't find him! Unfortunately there's no way to have movement but no sound.

Barks continuously! It doesn’t just bark a bit, it continues to bark the whole time it’s walking. And the bark goes straight through your ears !
