XM Radio 6 Volt Home Power Supply for SKYFi 2, Roady & XR9

One morning my Delphi X-M receiver just died and I actually was about to throw it away and buy a new one. Unfortunately, that model was no longer available. Since I had the same model in my car, I decided to trade to see if it was actually non functional. It worked just fine so I knew it had to be the power supply that had died. I tried to find one at Radio Shack but this was a very odd configuration and they could not supply one with the size of connector so I took a chance and ordered this one. I plugged it in and Viola! my radio receiver sprang to life. This saved me a LOT of $$ in trying to replace the whole unit.

It worked eventually but the plug size is too large for the Skifi radio holder. I got it to make connection by forcing it partway into the socket. I may take the old cable and splice it on the new power supply. Most people won’t want to do that. Once connected it works ok.

This doesn't really fit the skyfi 2, I should contact the company before posting this. I'm also not sure if it's the charger or the skyfi that's not working, but there's no way to tell if the charger is working, for example no charge light coming on. So I'm still trouble shooting.

It works. That is all I can ask. Now I can use my old xm skyfi2 again. Now I have to fill in 3 more words.

Was a little worried that I may need to buy a new receiver but took the chance it was just the power adapter and it paid off and it worked perfectly on my Delphi XM SkyFi.

This is a good product and shipped fast, ordered this for the XM Roady 2 but it doesn't fit the radio.

No issues, Does what it's advertised to do. Price is reasonable. Just be careful of all XM roadies. Power cords do not seem to be 100% interchangeable.

Unit works like a charm. I did have to cut off the lead end, and splice the original cord onto this one. Works great!
