Ultimate Comfort and Complete Darkness!
The Mindfold Eye Mask is a game changer! It blocks out all light perfectly.I’ve used it for meditating, holotropic breathwork session and more. It has an adjustable strap to make it fit perfectly. The soft foam padding moulds to my face without any pressure on the eyes. So it is very comfortable. I also love how I can have my eyes open with the mask on and still have complete darkness.Highly recommend for anyone who needs a mask for inner journeying.

Lightweight and fantastic light blocking
Fits really well and blocks out all light. It's also light so it's easy to tolerate. I like that you can open your eyes and it's still completely dark. I would suggest it's not the best value for money for what it is. Essentially a bit of plastic, some foam and an elastic strap. I'm not convinced how long it will last which isn't great for the price. But it does do the job very well

Overpriced piece of foam stuck to a plastic board
This item is massively overpriced for what it is. Cheap and borderline misrepresentation of what it actually is. And apparently non returnable. Should have read the reviews before ordering it. Looks as if it was made by child (probably was) Do not buy this product. Amazon should cut all ties to this seller.

Open eye total darkness - perfect for meditation
Been using these for years. You really can't beat a MindFold. They are very comfortable and very effectively block all of the light so you get to enjoy total darkness, you can even have your eyes open! My only gripe is that the gap for your nose is too small for me, so whenever I buy a new one I always cut it to fit my face better.

Spookily dark
Very effective - spookily so.Also lightweight so dont really notice it on your face.Just be careful youre not facing a light source when you take it off!! Nearly accidentally blinded myself!

Lights out!
I work shifts and need to sleep during the day. I'm easily woken by daylight and, after a fair bit of looking around, bought this mask. First off, it's just a fairly thick slab of flexible plastic with a "bandit mask" cut-out of a softish foam and stuck to the rear. The foam is of sufficient thickness that when worn the mask is lifted off your face, allowing you to keep your eyes open and blink should you want to.On first fitting I found the cut-out around the bridge of my nose wasn't wide enough to sit comfortably without the hard, outer shell scratching it. Some very careful adjustment was made with sharp scissors. Also, I'm not a big guy but I find the mask not quite wide enough for the foam to fully clear the outer edges of my eyes. Not saying it sat directly on my eyes, it rests just on the more sensitive skin close to the eye. It might not seem much to worry about but when other stimuli are removed one tends to focus on such things. It's not quite a one-size-for-all. The Velcro strap is adjustable to suit almost any head size and is wide enough that, if you have it fairly tight, it won't dig in to you. Neither does it roll or fold over as you drag yourself over the pillow during your sleep. There are drawbacks. After the first few uses, the outer shell changed from being a flat "plank" to something more like the rounded shape of my head but I found that the front plastic tends to cave inwards in the area of the eye cut outs leaving two distinct impressions and lessening the ability of the mask to stay away from your eyes. This could be the result of heat behind the mask. Some gentle manipulation puts this right until next time. The foam is quite soft and fairly well expanded to allow air to circulate without letting in light but I've found prolonged use in warm weather can leave me a little sweaty behind the mask. Not always but enough to comment on. Finally, some may suggest that the mask gets in the way if you lay on your side. Well, so do your ears but you just get used to it and adjust accordingly. As well as home use, I often throw it in my bag to use at work. (Don't tell the boss!) So far, all this to-ing and fro-ing has done it no harm but I can see that eventually the foam might be loosened from the mask or it could be torn.I would sometimes be prepared to pay £100's for an uninterrupted night's/day's sleep. Initially I thought this mask expensive but for the rest I've received as a result of it's use the cost is peanuts. I recommend this mask.

Best for meditations
I was first given a Mindfold in 2011 by my meditation teacher and it's still my go-to if I want 100% blackout. I've tried so many brands, and none have achieved 100% blackout like this one. On the slight downside, the foam filling isn't the softest and I personally prefer to sleep with silk ones and use this one for travelling or meditation.
