This glorious sauce hails from Brazil, not Mexico. It has gone down ... from the best to mediocre. Not worth buying ...

I bought this for my husband and we both love it - great flavor.

This hot sauce used to be worth it's weight in gold! However, since it's been acquired by D.L. Jardine foods of Texas, this unfortunately has gone down hill. They introduced xanthan gum and it's ruined the beautiful flavor of this one magnificent hot sauce.However, there is hope! Marie Sharp's Habanero sauce is the SAME hot sauce based out of Belize(where Sontava used to be manufactured) with the exact same ingredients and flavor profile! Furthermore, they do not use xanthan gum to "stabilize" the sauce, which in turn preserves the flavor of this amazing hot sauce. Just search for Marie Sharp's here on amazon but be prepared to spend some money as it is, in my humble opinion, the best hot sauce out there.
