UPDATE BELOW...I put this in my car and the 1st time I went to use it the Laug literally just came apart and completely broke off inside the Box rendering it completely useless… but because it was outside of the too many days to return it to Amazon I cannot make an exchange… completely I would not Recommend this Box at all to guard any type of valuables whatsoever ... The locking mechanism is what came apart in literally just fell apart it came off came loose came off did not hold whatever you won't however you want me to describe it does not work did not work will not work do not buy this it will not hold anything secure especially if you are using in a convertible like I was which is what it's advertised for… not a good investment11/20/18 UPDATED REVIEW : after I initially put the review above about the box I bought... I was contacted by the people who run the store who I actually bought the items through... They went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied with my purchase... They sent me a new box and place of the one that was broken... And the new box is seems to be in perfect working order no problems with the locking mechanism as the above stated review says... The customer service I received from Fantastic... They immediately contacted me and sent me out the new item... To make sure that I was satisfied... I have no complaints with the new item it seems to be in perfect working order and the people who run the store we're more than courteous and outstanding customer service... Would definitely buy from them again...

I changed the combination in accordance with the instructions. I tested the new code and it worked. Unfortunately once I placed items in the safe and locked, I could not get the safe to re-open when I move the code to the code I had installed. I had to get a flat screw driver to lift the lid and get the safe to re-open,to get my jewelry out of the box. Obviously, if I could use a screwdriver to pop the lid, what’s the point of having a safe? I threw this thing away. Not worth the money or the stress of locking things up and you cannot get them back out of the safe. Done waste your money

This lock box is exactly what is says it is. If the instructions don't work for you as written follow mine (simply switching A & B, nothing more). My new combination set perfect, without any issues with them.TIP: I added 2-sided tape to the backs of the upper and lower plastic inserts - made all the difference.TIP: I cut a rectangle of packing foam to fit the box so my items in it won't bounce around.TIP: You are locking the items in the box for a reason; the box is small, so use the cable so no one just walks away with it.I LIKE THIS BOX FOR THE MONEY! The Steel Frame is more than good enough - this is NOT a safe.it will allow me to enter it FAST, while others would take time to get in and make a ruckus doing so.

Bought to use at a beach resort. We wanted to keep our phones safe and dry. Plenty of room for two phones, one had a pop socket attached.Not water proof (as take into the ocean), but rain proof for us. Easy to use and will “attach” to things both big and small, lounge chair or cabana post. Don’t squeeze it hard to close, just a light close and turn your combination.Will be buying for our beach going children.

The 3 number wheels get stuck and do not rotate at all by an adult hand force. Nice design but useless and returned immediately.

Total waste of money. Cheap thin metal that doesn't even line up on top and bottom when closed. Would not recommend for anything important because poorly made and easy to break into. Better suited for children. And now I'm stuck with it because I ran out of time to return it

It is good and practical although it could be better finished.

Couldn’t set the lock after reading the instructions. Now the lock won’t open. Can’t recommend you purchase this safe
