This product is DANGEROUS!! I wish I would have paid more attention! So I could send this back! I used this warmer for a month. And it has been put up for quite some time due to i couldn't handle scents for a bit. Went to get it out of storage. In lucky this warmer didn't BURN MY CHILDS ROOM DOWN!! When I took the top off. I noticed this warmer has some type of deal around the cord where the bulb goes. The cord is WAY TO CLOSE TO THE BULB. And I noticed the burn marks. I chunked this warmer. I never thought to look at the cords inside the warmers. I just cleaned out the wax and added new wax. I went and looked at all my other warmers from scentsy. And they put their cords wrapped tightly and down way below the bulbs. None are this close to the bulb!

Don't let the picture on here full you. It is very nicely crafted and heavy. I got it for my 11 year old daughter because she loves the smell from candles but I don't want an open flame around. She was very excited and loves it. Light is not too bright but a nice accent.

At first I loved this thing. I have used it for a few months. I had loved being able to put wax melts in it and having it smell nice without the risk of an open flame. The other day I started smelling a burnt smell coming from the area I keep this warmer. I finally opened it up. Right next to the light way inside is a wrapped cord. It was totally burned. I cut the wrapping off and the cord is knotted and burned, almost impossible to keep away from the light. I'm now afraid to use it and will need to throw it away.

The look of the product is good, and the heat is enough to melt the wax. The top part which is the tray that holds the wax slips sideways on the base. I'm going to sand (gently) just enough to level it, and hope that solves the issue. However, that should have been the job of the people who made it, and I tend to get irritated at bad quality for retail prices. I originally was going to give 4 stars, but the lack of quality control made me downgrade it to 3 stars. There's too many options out there to put up with lesser quality.

I've had this wax warmer for a few months. It came with some yummy cinnamon 'starter' melts. Their scent lasted for a decent amount of time. I enjoy the glow of the light through the peep holes as well. There is space enough in the dish for A LOT of wax.

Sometimes I should just ignore the negative Amazon reviews. After reading the minority of negative reviews I was really apprehensive about receiving this warmer unit.Let me start from the beginning...I had no idea these things existed. After all, I'm a guy. This is not the kind of thing guys are generally into. However, when visiting my brother's home I saw that his girlfriend was using a tea candle warmer to melt wax which provided a wonderful smell to their home.I wasn't crazy about using a flaming candle to melt the wax. My brother's girlfriend suggested I buy an electric model instead. After a brief look on Amazon, I settled on this model from Deco. It seemed to have enough favorable reviews to warrant a purchase...However, as I sat waiting for my delivery, I started reading the bad reviews. Some people complained that the warming tray did not rest steadily on the base. Another review said the warming tray was too shallow. Another complained that the wax spills out.None of these complaints is a real issue as far as I can see here.First, the warmer looks great. I bought the plate design and if you look at the included photos you will see that this is a very handsome item. The product arrived exactly as described.The warming tray is fairly deep. I only used two waxed cubes. If you are throwing in twice that amount I can see there possibly be issues, but two cubes do an exceptional job of keeping your room smelling wonderful for hours on end. I would not recommend using more than that.The warming tray rests squarely on the base. There is no tipping caused by weight or imbalance. Not sure why others are citing they are having problems.Yes, there is a Halogen lamp inside. Yes, these tend to be more expensive than regular lamps but Halogen lamps can also operate at a higher temperature than incandescent lamps. If you want a more effective warmer you want the right lamp inside of it, I am guessing.I placed two cubes of Better Homes & Gardens Cookies and Cream (sold on Amazon) in the warmer. Once I switched it on (there is a power switch on the cord), the wax began its initial melt in just under 10 minutes. I have had the warmer running all day and I am now 5 hours in and the scent coming from the warmer is still strong.So, now that I have disproved many of the complaints regarding this warmer, the only thing left to do is to recommend it to you. It's a wonderful centerpiece that emits a faint glow from its inner light while effectively warming up your favorite scents. It works quite well and I can see myself getting continual use out of this product.

I was tired of buying the cheap warmers from Walmart. They are poorly designed and are frail. They have a short life expectancy, as well. I didn't want to spend the ridiculous price from Scentsy, though their product has a long life expectancy and they are made well. What a great find here on Amazon with this warmer. I have the best of both worlds. Affordable and made well! I just purchased it, so I do not know the life expectancy as of yet but I'm sure it won't disappoint. It is more lovely than the picture shows.

I absolutely love my new owl porcelain wax warmer. The lower part has little cut outs that illuminate from the light bulb that warms the wax melts. It was delivered in one day from order, arrived packaged very well in a sturdy box with styrofoam protectors. It even came with a starter pack of 4 wax melts in cinnamon fragrance. I have used it twice already and it really fills the room with a beautiful fragrance. I love the way it looks and smells. I will buy other styles for the other rooms in my house. I just love the fragrance they give off. I have given up on the plug in liquid type of air freshners as they don't last very long. Wax warmers are the way to go. LOVE IT!

Excellent for $ for 2 plug in owls. Are small but I like so I can change up the scent sooner then the larger ones.
