These spark plugs are the way to go on a 3.5 Ecoboost. A little colder than stock but without the misfires. A perfect choice to help make power with a Raptor.

Item is not as described.
The item clear states that it is a SP-542 spark plug, but the inventory stored at Amazon is an SP-578. Supposedly they are the same, but they shouldn't advertise falsely. I had amazon send a replacement and had the same problem. Amazon stated they would report the inventory problem. If you truly want an SP-542, don't buy this.

Highly impressed with the change for my Raptor
These really smoothed out the idle for my Raptor. Performance upgrade is probably negligible but they are still worth installing on the Gen 2 asap.

Different part number
The plugs I received were I different part number as the title states but worked just as the other ones.

Plugs are great but they were not gapped all the same.. always check your gaps

Not the SP-542!
I ordered these and received the SP-578, which is the replacement plug for the SP-542. The SP-542 have a heat range 7, and these are a heat range 8 (lower heat range, better performance) . Although these are compatible, they are not the same plug. The OEM number shows the SP-578 in the description, the listing should be updated that these are the SP-578!
