I’m sure it is because it is strong glass but I wouldn’t put it in because I can’t imagine it would clean it well without pudding the water due to it’s shape. It’s easy to clean by hand. I’m very happy with it. Cheers!

Q: Description says it will hold a full bottle. Reviews say half bottle. False advertising??

It will hold a full bottle. However most people will not pour the whole bottle in at one time in order to have a greater air surface of the wine. I do half then fill it again when the first glasses have lowered the wine level.

Q: How wide is it across the opening at the top?

Inside dimensions are oval shape, 3 inches by 2 3/4 inches.

Q: Is this crystal or glass? A couple reviewers said its glass.

It's glass, holds a whole bottle but is smaller than most. It's great for casual gatherings but you would want something bigger to aerate your expensive 20 year bottles.
