Carhoo X1B Ametrine Metallic Touch Up Paint Suitable For BMW, Genuine Custom Color Absoulutely Without Color Differences (16ml)

I normally buy touchup paint from the car dealer, but surprisingly, BMW doesn't sell touchup paint for their metallic paints. My New BMW i4 came in Vegas Red Metallic, which is a beautiful color, and was a good part of the reason we chose this particular car. I was very upset when I noticed a chip in the paint on the passenger's front door, most likely caused by the door of another car hitting the door of my car. BMW suggests having the touchup repair done by a body shop, since it is hard to match metallic paints exactly. However, since I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars for a small, cosmetic repair, so I bought this touchup paint. I am very happy to report that the paint was easy to use, and the color match was perfect. It is so good that I have a hard time seeing where the chip occurred.

We own two old BMWs in black sapphire metallic, so this was a great find. That said, I'm hesitant to apply the color to larger areas of concern...and we don't have those anyway. I can however recommend the product for very minor scratches that only need a hint of touch up. It was easy enough to use and worked adequately. While it is not cheap, this is certainly a useful correction device to have in your drawer.

Came in as advertised, the directions were clear and easy to follow. The paint went on as expected and looked great. The color was an exact match.

I was expecting good things for this touchup paint, especially for the high price relative to its competitors. The best thing about it is probably its easy to apply nature and clear instructions. While the paint looks shiny when wet, it dries to a flat/matte looking black. This might be fine if they included a separate applicator to apply a clearcoat. I suppose this paint can be sort of used as a base coat or primer, but you definitely need a shiny top coat to mask the repair, otherwise any damages will still be obvious.

If you've ever made a decision to let damage ride after a minor fender bender, then inevitably regretted it later, this touch-up pen is for you. You can fill in the scratches or flaked off patches quickly and easily, before the damaged area gets worse. Psychologically, it just makes you feel better. I'm too cheap to pay a body shop hundreds, if not thousands of dollars, for mine or damage. So the money spent on this is well worth it as an alternative.

This touch up paint pen is ideal to get remove of minor scratches from the vehicle. The color is obsidian blue as shown in the picture. It is very easy to use. The tip is very smooth and paints smoothly. It is also fast drying.

Color seems to match the alpine white of my bmw. Easy to apply
