Not wood.
This is a heavy duty paddle. Easy to clean, lightweight and not wood, that stains and holds germs.

Low Country Boil Lifesaver
We had a large family celebration and decided to do a low country boil dinner. Our large pot is 12 inches high. We needed a spoon that was large and heavy enough to stir a pot full of food and boiling water. This spoon was incredible. It created the distance we needed to not have our hands close to the boiling, hot water and was heavy enough to move food from the bottom of the pot to the top for an even cook job. The spoon quality and price were excellent.

Well made and sturdy, I was surprised but glad that the items arrived in one peice because the box was destroyed and wide open when I got it. Even the delivery person was looking to see if anything was in the box. This was after the usps did there freeze so I'm sure it has to do with them rather than those who boxed it.
