Ferry- Morse Marigold Dwarf Double Mixed Colors Flower Seed

The first package got ruined in the rain, so they sent another free, which was great. But none have grown. I tried some in the green house and some direct sow, but none have sprouted. I've got about 30 types of vegetables growing from seed, so I don't think it's anything I'm doing wrong. The seeds just don't take.

These seeds were "packed for 2018", which suggests that they were leftovers from 2 summers ago. Seeds are typically packed and sold for the planting year, which should have been 2020.

Not as much germinated as I had wished, and those that did grow to maturity took longer than I expected to bloom even with the correct conditions, when they bloomed though it made the purchase worth it.

Not very happy with this purchase. I bought the seeds thinking that I would have a mixture of the three colors like the picture on the package indicates. Instead I got all of the dark orange/red marigolds with slightly orange centers. I was hoping for more orange and yellow. They did however grow from seed and are doing pretty well. I was just disappointed about the picture in comparison to the results. If you are looking for darker red/orange marigolds then this might not be bad purchase for you.

These didn't grow well and they molded... Wrong time of year, maybe? Either way, not bad for the money.

I live in CT and purchased these seeds 2 weeks ago. I sowed a couple of these seeds in 4 inch pots filled with potting mix. Initially I placed these on the patio. However, it was cold and windy and I decided to place this indoors. After placing the pot indoors, near the window where there is ample light, I am very happy to say that all seeds that I sowed germinated and these are tiny plants now. Will wait for couple of days and post my updated review on the progress.**********************Here are pictures of my marigold flowers.
