i liked the colour and sheen of the mac and the length being below the knee it is not totaly waterproofand it needs a highly absorbent t shirt or a person would sweat wearing it if walking fast and on hills.i bought it for walking in the mountains it depends on the weather re humidity direct sun speed of walkingthe temperature it is a work wear mac rather than for out door hiking for my self i like the mac glad i boughtit would buy another in future i have tested in quite heavy rain and it worked out well for my self as i also used 3 layer gortex jacket under the mac which is breathable and anti sweat t shirt i think in winter on cold days and rainy it will be very good .

Hmm, bit of a curious one this. I have an HH jacket that is made of the usual waterproof material and I bought this coat expecting it to be the same but it's nothing like it. I would say this coat looks and feels like it's made of very thin rubber. Obviously, because of that, it's waterproof and windproof but it can also be very warm so to compensate there is a very large covered air vent at the back, which works okay unless the wind and rain are behind you in which case you can end up with a wet back. The zip and poppers work well and it's a good length, especially if you're wearing wellies but I do find it too warm in mild wet weather and the sleeves are at least two inches too long for me which is unusual. Also rain stays on it rather than dripping off even when it's hung up so if it's wet after your morning dog walk it'll still be wet for the afternoon one.

In all my 67 years, this is the biggest waste of money mistake Ive made. This item is terrible, it stinks of cheap plastic and is absolutely not what I was expecting. It looks and feels like part of a woolworths halloween costume. I needed a coat for walking my dog in bad weather but Id rather get soaked to the skin than wear this heavy duty polythene bag

Unfortunately it doesn't keep you warm and only has 2 pockets at the front that's it but apart from that it's rain proof and looks good.

What I like about this coat is its length. I have used it around four times, since purchasing it, in my professional, gardening job. This product is worth every penny. Cheaper rain-suits made for builders are often woven fabric on the outside and the polymer proofing on the inside; this inside proofing often cracks after little useage. This product has the polymer on the outside and the seams are welded and is of superb build-quality. I would recommend this coat to anyone wanting to keep out the good old British rain whilst doing manual work!
