Absolutely wonderful!
Mind you, I am not a professional I just enjoy playing with color.For my roots, I mixed the 7 silver pearl+ 8 dusty lavender + with 3" of dual violet booster. I melted my roots down into what I used for the shaft of my hair.For the shafts, I used 10 silver metallic + 9 violet pearl + 1 large pea size of dual violet booster. I then alternated with mixture with 10 silver metallic + a large pea size of violet red booster + large pea size of metallic red. All mixed 2:1 ratio with 10 volume developer and mixed with olaplex.I love it!!

Really bummed- didn't add any purple at all
Used this on freshly highlighted hair down to a level 9. Full process. And not a hint of purple. Maybe a little greying out (the hair wasn't at all yellow, so I couldn't tell you whether it "toned" it at all, but it gave a smidge of a shadow), but definitely not a dusty lavender like in online photos.

It works, you just need to get a license
As with ALL of his colors and the trick we do as professionals... ALWAYS use the “dual booster” which lists the color you WANT to see (though we use it to contrast AGAINST in the case with Silvers/Grey's), not the color you want to disappear I.e, a LITTLE bit of violet dual booster and you’d probably love it... or go to a stylist where this should be done. Oh and the “Dusty” IS a reference to a grey tone for application.
