These really only make financial sense if you are using expensive bulbs - it’s cheaper to buy new cheap bulbs than buying these adaptors.These are really handy and save you from having to buy more bulbs.I needed some new screw in hive bulbs which are really expensive but I already had some Hive bayonet type ones and thought an adapter would be a cheaper solution.Well yes and no.Yes - They fit the adapter really well (make sure you buy the right size!) and they are a lot cheaper than a new hive bulb.No - they add quite a bit of height to the bulb - so if the lamp shade is small they will stick out over the top which isn’t a good look. See photo.Worth it though if you have big shades.

Works very well. The Bayonet bulb isn't a perfect fit, but I'm using a 8 inch high bulb, so not the best test. I'm sure it would fit better if it were smaller. Check the pic to see what I mean.

These are well made and very useful if you have mainly bayonet bulbs and have only Edison screw bulb sockets.

A great idea, it does make your bulbs quite tall, so you may struggle to fit a bulb inside a glass fitting with this adapter on the end of it. Also it feels a little loose when you put a bonnet bulb into this adapter. It’s not a snug as I would like it to be so the bulb was a little wobbly.

Works as advertised, seem to fit well and I don’t feel scared when i turned the lamp on thinking the worse using them. Well done!

Really useful item when you find that a number of sockets around the house are using screw fitting rather than bayonet and all your smart bulbs are of the bayonet variety. In my case I didn't want to pay so much more for the Nanoleaf screw fitting when the bayonet was so much cheaper. My only reservation would be that they do extend the length of the bulb quite a bit which can make it a bit awkward when the bulb is in any sort of enclosure.
