this thing expands to be a pretty decent size and it has loads of practical pockets. can fit the detergent in there with some other separated items and keep all the clothes in the main chamber, neatly tucked away. definitely been needing something to hold my detergent and coin purse, instead of me carrying it separately and always worried i'll accidentally leave it somewhere. this probably holds a load and a half, probably two light loads, but certainly one hearty load at the very least. it has a zippered pocket just inside the main chamber where i would probably keep my coin purse and some other small essentials (could be a good place to store a wool fibers or delicates) the main chamber cinches shut, the same way the main outside pocket shuts. there's a handle just above the two shoulder straps to give carrying options. and there's even a little name tag on the seamline which is sorta cute. the shoulder straps are padded but not too thick, and they of course can be adjusted. this is a really decent laundry backpack. for this price point, i think it's giving quality. it's not cotton canvas or anything super heavy duty, but it's certainly solid and gives lots of storage options. oh yeah, and it folds down when not in use, which is something i can't say about my other laundry hampers, this is a super space saving bag for sure. pretty stoked to have it

This laundry bag is pretty great, I haven’t filled it up all the way yet but it seems to be made of sturdy material, it’s very large and the bag is made of a thick waterproof material.It’s light weight and has many pockets for holding laundry supplies or smaller items. The draw string keeps everything secure.I have another similar laundry bag that has broken over time because of the design, this has less seams that could rip over time and since it is one piece of fabric and doesn’t have structural pieces holding it into a large rectangle shape it could easily be washed in the washing machine.I think this is a great product at a great value. Very functional.

This hands free backpack style laundry basket is perfect for college or apartment living where you have to travel down halls and up and down stairs to do laundry. It is also great for home when you have long staircases that make carrying baskets very hard and unsafe.It is lightweight, made from a thin nylon type of material like camping gear to shield it from water without adding weight. The material is very flexible and appears to withstand repeated use quite well. The only concern would be a tear in the fabric if it got caught on something which would be difficult to repair. It has a nice drawstring closure at the top to prevent items from falling out. It has large outer and inner pockets to hold all your necessary items in and they zip close which I love. It also has two mesh pockets on the outer sides perfect for drinks or small detergent bottles.This bag is a great asset for laundry days. It really makes the difference when you have to take stairs and leaves your hands free to open and close doors or swipe cards to get through doors. Would make a great gift as well.

I've been using a laundry bag (or a bag one could use for laundry) for several years which is just a big bag with a drawstring. It's held up well, but it was time to get a new one. Although I'd grown accustomed to lugging this bag a couple of blocks to the laundromat, it was a slog. Holding this by the closure was a pain. This bag takes away that problem. The functionality can't be beat. It's so much easier now to put in a couple of loads of wash (or maybe a comforter/blanket), and strapping it on to walk down the street - the size is plenty big enough for that. The material is very good, and should you need to schlep out during a rainy day, this seems to be a good waterproof material, and you shouldn't worry. The bag itself is lightweight, but heavy duty enough that you know it'll last a good while. This is a very well made bag, and I'd recommend it as a great value for the price.

Got this for my daughter for college. Great for carrying clothing from dorm room to laundry room. My daughter has an easier time carrying this backpack than a laundry basket up 4 flights of stairs.The strength of the material and the quality in which the bag is sewn, makes this brand stand out . It makes carrying laundry so much easier, whether we’re hauling it up and down stairs or taking it to the laundromat. The thicker padded shoulder straps and adjustable sternum strap are very useful. They make heavy loads feel manageable, and having my hands free to text or open doors is a huge bonus. It has awesome 4 huge packets including zipper pocket inside to keep detergent, cell phone, wallet, underwear or socks , water bottles will be separate in right place. This long lasting and durable bag with padded bottom and reinforced stitches can be very useful for travel, hiking, sports or camping.

The description says that this backpack is durable and I'm not so sure. Right out of the bag, the straps seem well attached and this is BIG! It holds at least two loads of laundry, which in my case is one giant load.There are pockets and zippers and compartments galore, which is nice if you need that. I run to a laundromat, so I have a habit of keeping my detergent pods and dryer sheets in the car anyway.So far, I've only used this once and I wasnt gentle in the slightest. I swung the backpack onto my back, fully loaded. It doesn't rest well, because it's rounded, but that's ok. This isn't for school books.So far, it held up well, but the material really doesn't feel durable at all.I'll see how long this lasts and update if something happens.I also can't say that this is fully waterproof. There's no flap to cover the drawstring area, so water can get in that way.

Ordered this for my son heading off to college next fall. I think this is going to make it much easier for him to carry his laundry to and from the laundry room (or home). It seems sturdy and well sewn and the adjustable straps seem secure. The extra pockets are a nice touch to stash detergent, dryer sheets, even quarters. I think this will get tons of use!
