Good value pocket DAB radio that works.
For the price this is a very good pocket DAB radio. Having had a Philips pocket DAB radio for years this is as good. No tone control but provided ear phones are good and obviously set to match. Good battery life, sleep setting, picked up DAB signal in our poor reception area. Displays charging status of internal rechargeable battery although turns on when connecting to charge. Controls are easy to use. Does the job and would recommend.

LEMEGA PR1L Pocket DAB Radio, FM Radio.
Just what I wanted, I am listening to a program on DAB I don’t want to miss the show, but with this pocket sized DAB/FM radio, you can listen to your shows on the bus, train or even walking. You can get loads of portable FM radios and I can get fm on my phone but not DAB, but with this brilliant product, it’s easy just tune in, put your headphones in and carry on listening to your Favourite DAB station, love DAB radio programmes. Great product , good price.

Little radio, great value.
Bought this mini DAB/ portable radio so I can listen to the football/ favourite radio stations while I'm out and about. Arrived day after ordering, well packaged. Charger, earphones and instructions for use all included. Really clear set up. When I first switched on, the clock flashes 00:00 until it locks into signal then sets time (Took a matter of seconds). Tuning into stations couldn't be easier following the steps in the booklet. Took me 10 minutes to preset my favourite stations. Couldn't be any easier to use. Simply switch on, choose your preset station and away you go. Or you can use the controls to change stations. Has all the usual DAB stations you would find on normal DAB radio. More than enough for my needs. I love that there's a button lock function, so once you've found your station, you can lock the buttons so it won't change stations in your pocket.I use my own earphones, as the ones that came included I can't wear. Sound quality is great, lovely and clear. Was in a low signal a few days ago and it adjusted and found a clear signal so I didn't miss a word of commentary.I'm really impressed with the battery life. Havent used the radio for about 4 days, when I switched it back on, battery hadn't dropped by more than 2%, so more than happy. The radio its self is lovely. Small and light enough to fit in pockets, also comes with a lanyard (more like a wrist strap) so it can be carried without fear of dropping.Great value for money and would highly recommend to anyone whose looking for a lightweight, easy to use portable radio.

Excellent value for money
Brilliant little radio. Once I’d plugged in the earphones (the wire doubles as an aerial) it scanned and identified 75 channels, the same is my larger and significantly more expensive Roberts Revival. It is also very lightweight.Incredibly easy to use and the rechargeable battery last ages - I’ve used the radio a lot over two days and the battery indicator has not dropped at all.All in all, the radio represents excellent value for money and I highly recommend.

Great idea but very poorly designed
PROS:small, light, easy to use and store radio stations; good sound quality, comfortable headphones.CONS:1) signal is not too stable - if you sit/stand still then it is OK, but if you move around, or move the heaphones cable around, e,g. when adjusting its position in your clothing, the signal gets interrupted momentarily and crackles for a couple of second until it destabilises.2) BIGGEST PROBLEM: in their efforts, the designers of this radio did NOT put in the bit of circuitry that switches off the display, so the display is on ALL THE TIME. Contrast this with a mobile phone, the display of which switches off after a short period, to save battery use. The result for this radio is that the display sucks power out of the battery all the time that the radio is switched on, so it means the battery lasts about a day before it needs to be recharged. It's worse than modern mobile phone batteries that nowadays can last a couple of days of careful use! So it means you have to treat this radio as if it is like an older-style mobile phone, and charge it daily, to be sure it doesn't just cut out in the middle of your favourite programme because the battery has died.3) Related to 2): if you like to listen to the radio at night in bed, you need to put it under your pillow to prevent the display from lighting up the area where you are sleeping; this fact that the display is on all the time could be disturbing for you and maybe partners at night, if you like a dark room!!!VERDICT: overall the radio is very handy, but the signal instability and the constantly-lit display makes me wish I had not bought it. But I will continue to use it, now I have it, but I expect it will not last too long because the battery will be exhausted in a much shorter time than necessary. Therefore don't recommend to buy this, and instead look for a radio that states its display will switch off after, e.g. 30 seconds, to improve the battery life and your general life.ADDITIONAL POINTS:1) I mean "restabilises", not "destabilises" (autocorrect takes over!!)2) I found that it is possible to force the radio into mono mode rather than stereo mode, using the menu option button; this seems to solve the crackling problem, as long as you don't mind mono sound; no problem for speech.3) Need to also check battery usage in FM rather than DAB; I once had an older DAB radio that ate batteries, seemingly because of the DAB. I don't know if this battery life can be extended by using it on FM rather than DAB, but if you have unwittingly bought one of these radios, you could try to see if it makes a difference.4) If the manufacturers of this radio read this review and can fix the display so it switches off after 30 seconds, then I would be delighted to test it for you!Steve
