Sweet uniform for the price.
After reading the reviews on here, I was both excited and a tad nervous about getting this. I needed a TNG uniform for this Halloween and I had to pick one soon. I figured having one custom made was too expensive and would take too long to have fitted and tailored. Then I found this option. After reading many reviews from all of the star ratings and looking at customer photos, I decided to get this. For how good this looked and fit, this was the choice I went with. A weeks worth of anticipation and I received my top. It fits well, and is made of materials I expected. The sewing job on this was good, but there are minor inconsequential things that could've been better. I don't mean to nitpick, but the collar could've been a little tighter. The zipper up the back could've been made to go all the way up, not stop at the Base of the collar. The yoke seam doesn't quite line up at the shoulder, but who cares, for the price, it's worth it. It's not like I just paid $800 for it. I also wish it had gussets under the arms, so I don't keep doing a "baby huey", requiring me to do the famous "Picard Maneuver" to fix it. I agree with other reviewers who recommend wearing a black undershirt under this thing. There have been many photos of the cheap communicator pin you get, showing how seriously low quality it was. The one I received was actually in hood condition and could be given away as a gift or sold for a very low price, since I have a better one already. The pips are tiny, but of hood quality, and would suit a child more than me. I have some large, flat, proper-sized TNG pips somewhere, so these will be go on a jacket or hat or something... might even add the commbadge pin too. We'll see.All in all, this uniform is well worth the money. Now that I can be "Riker", I now need to find something for my "Deanna" to wear.I'll post photos shortly. I'll also post a photo comparing their commbadge with the one I have.

Not a bad product, but cut for an alien!
I got this for Halloween. The overall look of the uniform is quite decent for a costume or even a casual cosplay. Nobody is going to confuse it with a high-end replica, but at this price point, including the combadge, it's really pretty good. The main issue I had is the fit. This thing is cut for an alien (perhaps a Binar). I am male, 5' 11", 155 lbs, and wear size medium in almost everything. The medium I received was basically a crop top--it ended above my belly button, and was super form-fitting around the torso. The sleeve length was good though, as were the shoulders.I exchanged this for a large, which was much more wearable in terms of its length and torso fit. Even so, it was still on the short side--I wore a black undershirt and did plenty of "Picard tucking." And, the sleeves were way too long out of the package; I used some Stitch Witchery to quickly take them in by several inches. One other note--on the first uniform I received, the combadge pin quickly fell apart; this would be easily fixed with a dab of superglue, but definitely something to be a bit careful with.Overall, this is a good costume paired with some black pants; just be careful of the sizing!!

Accurate uniform and very well made
Mine is a faithful version of the uniform and is very well made. In fact, as one other reviewer said, it may be TOO accurate as, for me anyway with shortish arms and longish torso for my size, it's too short in the torso and long in the arms, thus necessitating the "Picard maneuver" when standing. But in red command style bought from the vendor I bought from, it's a very good piece. The communicator pin isn't so great, but I bought a well made accurate one separately. Considering I paid half as much for the pin alone as I did the shirt, it's no surprise the pin is much nicer than the included one. This is the pin I paired the shirt with:Star Trek TNG Authentic Full Size COMMUNICATOR PIN NewIt does seem to vary by vendor. Even the product listing shows a version with a silk screened pin. I read the reviews carefully to try to avoid those. Mine was fulfilled by Deety's Toy Shop and is the real deal - definitely not silk screened communicator pin (though, as I said, not a good one either - buy separately) and with nice metal pin-attachable rank pips.I agree about the lack of room in the armpits too, but again I think that is authentic. Same recommendation to complete the outfit - black tee shirt under it, black slacks, socks and shoes, different and better communicator pin and you'll look quite authentic. The shirt with this combo is so good it was praised at a Con by no one less than Lawrence M. Schoen of the Klingon Language Institute as "completely authentic garb - for a pajama wearing feddie." ;-)
